Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 9
John 3

But there will be no more gloom for her who was in anguish;
2
[c]The people who walk in darkness
Will see a great light;
Those who live in a dark land,
The light will shine on them.
3 You shall multiply the nation,
You shall [d]increase [e]their gladness;
They will be glad in Your presence
As with the gladness [f]of harvest,
As [g]men rejoice when they divide the spoil.
4 For You shall break the yoke of their burden and the staff on their shoulders,
The rod of their oppressor, as [h]at the battle of Midian.

Isaiah 9:1a, 2-4

The Spirit of the Living God says,
My salvation has come. My salvation is here. It’s for those who are near and those who are far. My salvation can reach even the farthest heart. It knows no boundaries. It has no limits. My salvation is here for the taking, for the receiving, for personal ownership. It’s worth singing about. It’s worth dancing about. It’s worth lying prostrate on the floor in sorrow, repentance, awe, wonder and great thanksgiving about. This is the gift of restoration. This is the gift that makes all things right. This is the gift that knits your soul back to Mine. Where it has been torn apart and separated, now your soul will be reunited to Mine, your hand rejoined to Mine.

6 For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us;
And the government will [i]rest on His shoulders;
And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
7 There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace,
On the throne of David and over his kingdom,
To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness
From then on and forevermore.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this.

Isaiah 9:6-7

Salvation for all is here. Salvation for all is available — for the weak and for the strong, for the meek and for the angry, the quiet and the loud, the sheepish and the brash. My love is here. My salvation is come. His Name is Emmanuel. He came to Earth as a baby, was wrapped in swaddling cloths in a manger and visited by shepherds at night. That’s not just a beautiful, charming story. That is the story of the inception that made new life possible, made regeneration possible, made reconnection with your King and Creator possible.

Salvation is here. It’s available for the taking. Reach out and say, yes Jesus. Reach out and say, yes Lord. Reach out and say, you can have all of Me. I need all of You in my life Lord. You are the only one who saves me. You are the only one who has paid the price to right every wrong I have ever committed and will ever commit. Lord, I lay my life before you. Come and join yourself to Me, so that I can be made whole. Join your heart to Mine so I can understand your ways. Give me the gift of your unending salvation. I want to spend eternity with You. I want to walk in wholeness, in fullness and in the light of your ways.

“For here is the way God loved the world—he gave his only, unique Son as a gift. So now everyone who believes in him will never perish but experience everlasting life. “God did not send his Son into the world to judge and condemn the world, but to be its Savior and rescue it! So now there is no longer any condemnation for those who believe in him, but the unbeliever already lives under condemnation because they do not believe in the name of the only Son of God. And here is the basis for their judgment: The Light of God has now come into the world, but the people loved darkness more than the Light, because they want the darkness to conceal their evil. So the wicked hate the Light and try to hide from it, for the Light fully exposes their lives. But those who love the truth will come into the Light, for the Light will reveal that it was God who produced their fruitful works.””

John‬ ‭3:16-21‬ ‭TPT‬‬

This is the day of your salvation. It is yours for the taking. The trade is yours to make. Your ways for Mine, your brokenness for My perfection and holiness, your past for a glorious, unfurling future with Me that has no end. Come to Me. Come to the fount of every blessing. Come to the Savior who gave it all and conquered death to restore you to perfect, new, sparkling life. Come to the source of all restoration. His Name is Jesus. He is Emmanuel, God with us. He did everything to save you. Will you reach out to Him? Will you grasp His extended right hand? Will you give Him your lack for His sufficiency? Your faults can be covered by His grace. Extend your hand to Jesus. He’s waiting right here.

How to Respond

  • If you have never received the gift of salvation from Jesus, reach out your hand to His extended hand. Pray, Jesus, I have failed in so many ways. My sin has separated me from You. I want to turn my life and my heart over to You and Your leadership. Make me whole Jesus. Come and take residence in my heart, so I can hear Your voice clearly and follow your ways. I accept your perfect and astounding gift of salvation and new life Lord. You can have all of me. I want to live with You. Thank You for Your sacrifice on the cross, Your death and resurrection. Thank You for the gift of salvation.
  • Sing songs of worship and celebration of Jesus.
  • Declare, Jesus is Emmanuel, God with us. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. He is Lord of all, and He paid the full price to redeem my lost soul.
  • Decree, Through Jesus and His great gift of salvation, I am restored and made whole. I am walking hand in hand with my Savior Jesus, and I can now boldly approach God the Father’s throne of grace, because of my relationship with Jesus. I am redeemed.
