Today’s Reading:
John 13
John 14
Song of Songs 2
Now Jesus was fully aware that the Father had placed all things under his control, for he had come from God and was about to go back to be with him. So he got up from the meal and took off his outer robe, and took a towel and wrapped it around his waist. Then he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ dirty feet and dry them with his towel. But when Jesus got to Simon Peter, he objected and said, “I can’t let you wash my dirty feet—you’re my Lord!” Jesus replied, “You don’t understand yet the meaning of what I’m doing, but soon it will be clear to you.” Peter looked at Jesus and said, “You’ll never wash my dirty feet—never!” “But Peter, if you don’t allow me to wash your feet,” Jesus responded, “then you will not be able to share life with me.” So Peter said, “Lord, in that case, don’t just wash my feet, wash my hands and my head too!” Jesus said to him, “You are already clean. You’ve been washed completely and you just need your feet to be cleansed—but that can’t be said of all of you.” For Jesus knew which one was about to betray him, and that’s why he told them that not all of them were clean.
John 13:3-11 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
I desire crystal clear purity in your inner parts. This is how I was able to say, Satan has nothing in Me. As I told My disciples, I’ve already cleansed you, so you only need to have your feet cleaned. So are you. You only need to have some things cleaned up on the inside, so you will be able to say as I said, Satan has nothing in me.
I leave the gift of peace with you—my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous! “Remember what I’ve told you, that I must go away, but I promise to come back to you. So if you truly love me, you will be glad for me, since I’m returning to my Father, who is greater than I. So when all of these things happen, you will still trust and cling to me. I won’t speak with you much longer, for the ruler of this dark world is coming. But he has no power over me, for he has nothing to use against me. I am doing exactly what the Father destined for me to accomplish, so that the world will discover how much I love my Father. Now come with me.
John 14:27-31 TPT
Let’s pull out every bitter root. Let’s put down every false or true accusation. Satan is the accuser of the brethren. If his accusations have gotten into your inner parts, pull them out. Offense is an insidious and nasty one. Pull it out. These are the little foxes that ruin our garden. I will help you deal with them. This is a time to deal with generational issues — curses and oaths taken that open the door for trauma, theft, sickness, pain and death in your life. It’s time to close every door that does not belong to Jesus. Uproot the demonic strongholds, and close the demonic portals opened by yourself or those in your family line before you. This is the greater purification. This is the time for the fine tuning purification — the deep clean purification — so as you go out to this next phase of battle, your insides sparkle because they are crystal clear.
Can you not discern this new day of destiny breaking forth around you? The early signs of my purposes and plans are bursting forth. The budding vines of new life are now blooming everywhere. The fragrance of their flowers whispers, “There is change in the air.” Arise, my love, my beautiful companion, and run with me to the higher place. For now is the time to arise and come away with me. For you are my dove, hidden in the split-open rock. It was I who took you and hid you up high in the secret stairway of the sky. Let me see your radiant face and hear your sweet voice. How beautiful your eyes of worship and lovely your voice in prayer. You must catch the troubling foxes, those sly little foxes that hinder our relationship. For they raid our budding vineyard of love to ruin what I’ve planted within you. Will you catch them and remove them for me? We will do it together.
Song of Songs 2:13-15 TPT
I want you to make yourself slippery to the enemy. Make it so everywhere he tries to grasp or get a hold in your life causes him to slip — because of your purity, because every stronghold has been removed and because you are covered by My anointing. My anointing breaks the yoke, and it is My anointing in this time that will enable you to see and remove every foothold, every weed, every fox in our garden. Wrestle with Me if you must. But let’s get this done. I want to see you sparkle as the Son.
How to Respond
- Spend time with the Lord and ask Him to show you everything inside of you that needs to be uprooted and removed. Ask Him for the grace to do it and to keep it out.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You that You lead us to all truth. Show me the truth of what’s left lingering inside of me that is inhibiting crystal clear purity, and help me to remove those things. I will not hold onto them, because Jesus paid the full price for my redemption and He deserves a spotless bride. I give up my rights to offense, bitterness and judgement. And I follow in Jesus’s footsteps to say, I forgive them.
- Declare, I choose the life that pleases the Lord. It is a life lived in the gratitude of grace, always choosing to walk with Him in what is right. This is the sacrifice He desires from me. As I do this, more and more of His salvation will unfold for me. (Psalm 50:23)
- Decree, as I engage Holy Spirit to remove every weed, stronghold and fox that remains in my inner parts, I will experience a greater level of freedom. I will be one whose inner parts are crystal clear, sparkling with purity and who can say, Satan has nothing in me.
