Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 55
Jeremiah 1
Psalm 91
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth And making it bear and sprout, And furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.”
Isaiah 55:8-11 NASB1995
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Get your hopes up. It’s time to really get your hopes up. Stir up excitement. Stir up anticipation. Stir up the scriptures in your heart. Stir up My promises in your heart. The rain is coming. The tornado winds of change are coming. The hurricane force winds of change are coming. And it will be for your benefit. It will be for your good and My glory. Choose to walk with Me. Choose to stick very close to Me. My canopy of grace will protect you. But you will feel gusts of the tornado winds of change. They will blow change into your life as well. They will blow debris out of your life as well. They will blow unexpected things out of your life and other unexpected new things into place in your life.
Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am watching over My word to perform it.”
Jeremiah 1:12 NASB1995
Trust Me, and live in holy confidence as you walk side by side with Me. My plan will not fail. My purposes will be accomplished. This is a time to embrace and become one with a posture of humility and bold confidence — humility because of what I have done in your life, bold confidence that I will do what I said I will do. This is a holy time. This is a set apart time in history. This is a good time to test the strength of your anchors — before the big winds arrive. Be in My Word, and get My Word into you. My Word will be the chains, the strong chains and cords that will hold you firmly and securely as these tornado winds of change sweep in and sweep through.
You will never worry about an attack of demonic forces at night nor have to fear a spirit of darkness coming against you. Don’t fear a thing! Whether by night or by day, demonic danger will not trouble you, nor will the powers of evil be launched against you. Even in a time of disaster, with thousands and thousands being killed, you will remain unscathed and unharmed. You will be a spectator as the wicked perish in judgment, for they will be paid back for what they have done!
Psalms 91:5-8 TPT
Nothing will remain the same. Even so, remain in Me, and I will remain in you. All the more reason to remain in Me. I will remain in you. Batten down the hatches for change. Those may not hold. But if you have reinforced your anchors into Me, if you stay close to Me and remain under the canopy of My great grace, you will remain unscathed and unharmed. You will be a spectator as the wicked perish in judgement, for they will be paid back for what they’ve done. Trust. Obey. Live in discipline. This is a serious time, but I have covered you with My grace.
How to Respond
- Get your hopes up, because the time of fulfilled promises and a time of great, powerful change is upon us.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You that You have provided a great canopy of Your grace to protect me in this time. Guide me in how to strengthen myself in you, so that I am secure in the shaking. I love You, and I trust You to accomplish all that You said You would do.
- Declare, the Lord will accomplish that which concerns me. God is the Lord of the times and seasons. He raises kings up and He takes others down. Every kingdom on Earth is subject to King Jesus.
- Decree, I will walk by faith, not by sight. I will get my hopes up. This great sweeping change is for my good and for God’s glory. I will reinforce my anchors into the Lord by reading the Word, recounting His faithfulness and declaring what He’s told me. I will not falter, and I will not faint. I will walk in humble, bold confidence because my God will come through. He is breaking through.
