Today’s Reading:
Psalm 62
Psalm 107

“I stand silently to listen for the one I love, waiting as long as it takes for the Lord to rescue me. For God alone has become my Savior. He alone is my safe place; his wraparound presence always protects me. For he is my champion defender; there’s no risk of failure with God. So why would I let worry paralyze me, even when troubles multiply around me?”

Psalms‬ ‭62:1-2‬ ‭TPT‬‬

The Spirit of the Lord says,
My grace is sufficient for you. My power is made perfect in weakness. Trust in Me. Trust in My goodness. Trust in My willingness, My faithfulness and My truth. Trust in Me. I will lead you through the rough waters. I will lead you across the rough terrain. And I will bring you into a glorious city in which to dwell. I will lead you. I will guide you, and I will take you into a city in which to dwell.

“God’s glory is all around me! His wraparound presence is all I need, for the Lord is my Savior, my hero, and my life-giving strength. Trust only in God every moment! Tell him all your troubles and pour out your heart-longings to him. Believe me when I tell you—he will help you! Pause in his presence”

Psalms‬ ‭62:7-8‬ ‭TPT‬‬

We are leaving the rough, icy waters and moving to the rocky and uneven terrain. I have been with you there, and I will be with you here. The terrain is changing. What you need to operate and move here is shifting. But I will lead you here. You are leaving some of the difficulty behind. Things won’t be easy, but they will be easier. You will have to be very careful where and how you walk, but you will be able to see the terrain more clearly.

“He led us out by the right way until we reached a suitable city to dwell in. So lift your hands and thank God for his marvelous kindness and for all his miracles of mercy for those he loves. How he satisfies the souls of thirsty ones and fills the hungry with goodness!”

Psalms‬ ‭107:7-9‬ ‭TPT‬‬

My grace is sufficient for you here. My strength is still made perfect in weakness. We have not reached the glorious city yet, but it will soon be in your sights. It will soon come into view where it had only been in your heart. You will see the place that I Am drawing you, leading you — the place to which I Am calling you. You will see that up-higher way of living, that glorious ready-to-be-inhabited city of excellence and grandeur, of peace and prosperity. You will see and enter into this glorious city that has been waiting for the remnant, for the people of My pasture to ascertain. I’m bringing you into a new day. Trust Me to guide you there. Trust Me to get you there.

How to Respond

  • Determine to trust the Lord to continue to lead you through uncertainty to a place of realizing the dreams in your heart.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit come. Help me to be more sensitive than ever to Your voice, Your promptings, Your guiding. I want to be quickly obedient, so I don’t take any detours from where we are going. Help me to follow You in unwavering faith.
  • Declare, the Lord my God is absolutely good. He never lies. He never leaves. He never loses and He never fails. He is the all-sufficient, always victorious, always truthful, always faithful God.
  • Decree, I am the Lord’s beloved. I will trust in Him. I will allow Him to guide me, and I will be quick to be obedient, so that I don’t get off course. I am crossing into less difficult terrain, and through the Lord’s faithful leading, I will realize the dreams of my heart.
