Today’s Readings:
Psalm 33-34
Psalm 51

6 Behold, You desire truth in the innermost being,
And in the hidden part You will make me know wisdom.

Psalm 51:6

The Lord says,
Change. Transformation. Holiness. I desire truth in the innermost parts. I desire ones in whom there is no deceit. Truth need not look for a sound byte. Truth need not be defended. Truth is bold, fierce and can defend herself. Truth is like a hungry lion. Truth is like a lion protecting her cubs. She can and she will stand boldly, bravely, proudly — and she will dare any foolish ones to cross her. She will protect and defend what is hers. She will openly rebuke any who tread too closely to her territory.

I desire truth in the inner most parts. I desire ones in whom there is no deceit. I desire ones with eyes of purity and hands that are clean from the stain of sin. I desire a spotless and holy bride set apart for Myself.

4 For the word of the Lord is upright,
And all His work is done in faithfulness.
5 He loves righteousness and justice;
The earth is full of the lovingkindness of the Lord.

Psalm 33:4-5

Truth is rising in the public square like a strong, bright pillar that is immovable, unignorable and undebatable. Truth is rising like a pillar and a permanent structure in the midst of the people and in front of the halls of justice. Truth will disrupt daily life. Truth will interrupt typical patterns. The truth is not about right or left. Truth will overshadow them all. Truth doesn’t take sides. It is yours to be found on the side of truth. Watch for truth to rise so powerfully, so unashamedly, with such strength, presence and visibility that it disrupts the daily routines and typical patterns of everyone — especially those who work in and around the halls of justice. Judges, attorneys, clerks, plaintiffs, defendants and officers of the law will be forced to conduct their proceedings under the weight of the gaze of truth. A rightful holy reverence will fall on them all, and they will conduct themselves very differently than they had before.

11 Come, you children, listen to me;
I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
12 Who is the man who desires life
And loves length of days that he may see good?
13 Keep your tongue from evil
And your lips from speaking deceit.
14 Depart from evil and do good;
Seek peace and pursue it.
15
The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous
And His ears are open to their cry.
16 The face of the Lord is against evildoers,
To cut off the memory of them from the earth.

Psalm 34:11-16

Those who choose to operate in defiance to the rise of truth will not be able to stand, speak or remain in these positions. Duplicitous ones, those who take a bribe and those whose hearts are evil will not be able to stand under the scrutiny and the weight of truth. As the filthy ones depart the scene, the atmosphere surrounding the truth will become light and airy. It will become clear and hopeful. The power of this beacon, this pillar, Truth, will be undeniable and inextinguishable.

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me away from Your presence
And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation
And sustain me with a willing spirit.

Psalm 51:10-12

Truth will rise in the public square again. She will be immovable and immutable, so all who surround her will be the ones that must change. She bows to no man, no convention and no whim. It is for the people to reroute their thinking, rewire their minds, adjust behaviors and ways of operating to accommodate truth. It is for the people to be found on the side of truth. It is for the people to learn how to operate in the reality and light of truth. She will not move or change for them.

How to Respond

  • Ask the Lord to help you to see and perceive the truth in the situations you are facing and in the world around you.
  • Sit with the Lord and ask Him to help you purify your mind and heart. Ask Him to show you any areas you need to repent and change habits.
  • Pray, Lord, my desire is to be one found on the side of truth, to be one who has eyes only for you, to be one in whom there is no deceit and in whom truth dwells in the innermost parts. Help me to daily strive for that.
  • Declare, the Lord is truth, and the Lord loves truth. He is causing truth to be resurrected and to have a place of honor and visibility again. He is causing truth to rise in such a way that it is undeniable, immovable and will cause great disruptions for all people.
  • Decree,
    I will be one found on the side of truth.
    I will be one in whom truth is found in the innermost parts.
    I will be one in whom there is found no deceit.
    I will humble myself before the Lord and keep my hands clean from the stain of sin.
    I will rejoice when truth is exalted in the public square.
    I will celebrate when truth demands justice and the courts deliver it because of the reverential fear of the Lord.
    The truth will force out brazen unrighteous ones who walk the halls of justice. They will not be able to stand under the weight of the gaze of truth.
    Truth will prevail.
