Today’s Reading:
Psalm 29
Psalm 37
“God’s mighty voice makes the deer to give birth. His thunderbolt-voice lays the forest bare. In his temple all fall before him with each one shouting, “Glory, glory, the God of glory!” Above the furious flood, the Enthroned One reigns, the King-God rules with eternity at his side. This is the one who gives his strength and might to his people. This is the Lord giving us his kiss of peace.”
Psalms 29:9-11 TPT
The Spirit of the Lord says,
I’m changing your world. I’m changing your landscape. I’m changing your surroundings and your values, your priorities, your concerns. The tidal wave is sweeping in to wash out the desert debris — the debris that remained on you from the desert, from the wilderness, from the waiting place. A tidal wave of My glory is coming in to wash over you, to remove and to cleanse you from all remaining debris of the wilderness. I Am sweeping in as a mighty refreshing, a mighty renewing, a mighty cleansing and as a mighty stark change, a mighty new day.
“Keep trusting in the Lord and do what is right in his eyes. Fix your heart on the promises of God, and you will dwell in the land, feasting on his faithfulness. Find your delight and true pleasure in Yahweh, and he will give you what you desire the most. Give God the right to direct your life, and as you trust him along the way, you’ll find he pulled it off perfectly! He will appear as your righteousness, as sure as the dawning of a new day. He will manifest as your justice, as sure and strong as the noonday sun.”
Psalms 37:3-6 TPT
You have been adjusting and iterating and trying new things. You have been working in new ways since leaving the desert, and as My tidal wave of glory comes in and refreshes and cleanses you, it will bring a great clarity, a sparkling clarity to it to enable you to get more done in less time. It will show you efficiencies and how to tighten up areas that previously took extended periods of time. I Am coming in to re-order and to bring a great pristine, beautiful, creative order to your life. It will look and feel like a whole new life. It will be like moving into a new home with sparse, uncluttered and unfamiliar but greatly enjoyed, greatly delighted in furnishings. It will require some settling in. It will require some new routines and getting accustomed to the new routines. It will require a new order to your day. It will require change and flexibility — but it will all be born from great joy, excitement and the newness of a great spring refreshing.
“When Yahweh delights in how you live your life, he establishes your every step.”
Psalms 37:23 TPT
You will be a ready student. You will be like an eager one ready to learn, ready to understand, ready to explore these new arenas and zones I set before you. Your past will help you. Your background will help you. I waste nothing. Your past will help you have the outlines for the future, but don’t try to build a monument to the past. Don’t try to resurrect the past. I Am doing something brand new. I Am doing something new in you, and I Am doing something new through you. Keep the past as a history and a reference, as a tool. But do not try to resurrect the past. This is a day to plow boldly and confidently — even in the uncertainty — into a bright new future, into the unknown, into the new things I have called you to carve out, to build and to grow. Walk boldly into the new. You can hear and feel My call beckoning you forward. Come My child. It’s time to build and do and grow and create something Brand New.
How to Respond
- Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight.
- Pray, Lord, thank You for the promise of a great cleansing and refreshing that removes the debris still clinging to me from the wilderness waiting season. Thank You for marking out something entirely new for me. Help me to walk into it with boldness, confidence and holy assurance that You are the one guiding me, leading me. I can trust You completely.
- Declare, if God’s grace doesn’t help the builders, they will labor in vain to build a house.
- Decree, God’s grace is sufficient for me. God’s grace is going before me, surrounding me and empowering me to every good work that He calls me to do. I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. The Lord will be the inner strength of all His people, the mighty protector of all, the saving strength for all of His anointed ones. He will keep protecting and cherishing His chosen ones. In the Resurrected King we will never fall. Like a shepherd going before us, He will keep leading us forward, forever carrying us in His arms. Christ in me IS the hope of glory.
