Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 49
3 He said to Me, “You are My Servant, Israel,
Isaiah 49:3, 6b NASB 1995
In Whom I will [c]show My glory.”
I will also make You a light [e]of the nations
So that My salvation may [f]reach to the end of the earth.”
The Spirit of the Living God says,
Grace and glory. My grace and glory cover the Earth. They fill the atmosphere. They overwhelm the people. This is a season of the reverential fear of the Lord falling like rain onto unexpecting people. It’s hovering over individuals. It’s hovering over groups of people, and it will fall like a sudden spring downpour — heavy and without warning. People will have sudden encounters with Me. People with have sudden encounters with the Spirit of the Living God. People will have sudden encounters with Jesus, the Messiah and man. They will see us. They will feel us. They will experience us. And lives will be changed in an instant. Directions will be changed in an instant. Purpose will be imparted in a sudden moment, and about faces will happen in rapid, unwavering motion.
I’m calling people to change as I draw their hearts to Me. I Am drawing people to truth, and they will get a lot more than their bargain. They will get Me, because I Am truth. I Am the way, the truth and the life — the only way to the Father is through Jesus, the Christ.
8 Thus says the Lord,
Isaiah 49:8-10 NASB 1995
“In a favorable time I have answered You,
And in a day of salvation I have helped You;
And I will keep You and give You for a covenant of the people,
To [g]restore the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritages;
9 Saying to those who are bound, ‘Go forth,’
To those who are in darkness, ‘Show yourselves.’
Along the roads they will feed,
And their pasture will be on all bare heights.
10 “They will not hunger or thirst,
Nor will the scorching heat or sun strike them down;
For He who has compassion on them will lead them
And will guide them to springs of water.
New songs will be written. New melodies will rise up from the hearts of these sudden converts. These will be known as Road to Damascus moments. These will be known as Saul of Tarsus moments. These will be known as stark, irreversible before and after moments. My grace is rising up from the earth, and My glory is hovering. As my grace rises, and as My glory descends and even falls powerfully, storms of personal change will strike. The reverential fear of the Lord will fall as My glory, and change is the result. Eyes of understanding opening is the result. The beginning of wisdom budding in hearts is the result.
24 “Can the prey be taken from the mighty man,
Isaiah 49:24-25 NASB 1995
Or the captives of [m]a tyrant be rescued?”
25 Surely, thus says the Lord,
“Even the captives of the mighty man will be taken away,
And the prey of the tyrant will be rescued;
For I will contend with the one who contends with you,
And I will save your sons.
The collision of My grace and glory will birth a movement. It will spark powerful domino effect-like change, and it will impart boldness and authority and wild abandon for Me that your generation has never seen. This is unapologetic faith. This is gratitude for their Savior overflowing. This is the impact of the reverential fear of the Lord. Combined with My grace it will set the world on fire and change the direction of people for generations. Watch for it to fall. It will arrest and change people. It will make them shine with My glory and Presence so brightly that they are unrecognizable — completely unrecognizable. Change is coming as My glory will fall. Watch for the sudden rainstorms of My glory.
How to Respond
- Submit yourself fully to the Lord. Give Him the rights and ownership to your life.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Let Your glory fall in power over my family, city and nation. Let your glory fall over the nations of the world. I love You Lord. I long to see the hearts of many turned back to You. I long to see your grace rise up to meet Your glory and the powerful ignition of wholesale change and the reverential fear of the Lord birthed in many lives instantly. Come Lord. The change our world, society and culture need so desperately can only come from You.
- Decree, Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and it will fall on the people in power. The knowledge of the glory of God will fill the whole Earth. The increase of His government knows no end. At the Name of Jesus, every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
- Declare, I will trust in the Lord my God. I will wait expectantly, worshipfully and prayerfully to see the grace of the Lord and His glory ignite a storm of change in individuals and in the many. I believe the glory of the Lord will fall like powerful unexpected rainstorms and many, many lives will be changed forever.
