Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 60
Psalm 24

“Arise, shine; for your light has come,
And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
2 “For behold, darkness will cover the earth
And deep darkness the peoples;
But the Lord will rise upon you
And His glory will appear upon you.
3 “Nations will come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising.
4
“Lift up your eyes round about and see;
They all gather together, they come to you.
Your sons will come from afar,
And your daughters will be carried in the arms.

Isaiah 60:1-4

The Spirit of the Lord says,
My grace is sufficient for change. My grace is sufficient to be change and to bring change. Change is all around you. Everywhere you look is change. Times are connecting for change. Moments are intersecting for change. My grace is sufficient for change, and lives are meeting at crossroads of change. This is a time of a great convergence for change. Parts and pieces that have been scattered and disconnected are meeting for a great convergence of change. Lives will be merged. Businesses will be born. Families will begin. This is a time of a great convergence of change. This is how historians mark the beginning of a new age. Death and decay are visible looking back from the doorway left behind, and the entrance is marked by new, remarkable, very notable change.

18 “Violence will not be heard again in your land,
Nor devastation or destruction within your borders;
But you will call your walls salvation, and your gates praise.
19 “No longer will you have the sun for light by day,
Nor for brightness will the moon give you light;
But you will have the Lord for an everlasting light,
And your God for your glory.
20 “Your sun will no longer set,
Nor will your moon wane;
For you will have the Lord for an everlasting light,
And the days of your mourning will be over.
21 “Then all your people will be righteous;
They will possess the land forever,
The branch of My planting,
The work of My hands,
That I may be glorified.

Isaiah 60:18-21

People will begin to live lives for family, for truth and for justice. They will be lovers of the Lord. It’s like all of the past time, the past era was marked with noise, decay and degeneration; and it will be like something that has completely passed away. It will seem like this new era was birthed, was possible because everyone stopped listening to the noise and stopped noticing or acknowledging the decay, and they fixed their eyes on the King of Glory, the High King of Heaven, their Lord and Savior Jesus. His light reflected on them and shone through them, and it became so bright that it broke through and gave way to the new day, the new era. It broke the power of darkness. It’s like darkness is no longer a thought, no longer a topic, because the people and the work are so filled with joy, so consumed with the love of the Lord and love for each other that darkness would be such a weak and pathetic topic to even raise. Even the smudges of darkness that remain here are fading quickly, because they are being bleached and disinfected by the light.

“Those who are clean—whose works and ways are pure, whose hearts are true and sealed by the truth, those who never deceive, whose words are sure. They will receive Yahweh’s blessing and righteousness given by the Savior-God. They will stand before God, for they seek the pleasure of God’s face, the God of Jacob. Pause in his presence So wake up, you living gateways! Lift up your heads, you doorways of eternity! Welcome the King of Glory, for he is about to come through you. You ask, “Who is this King of Glory?” Yahweh, armed and ready for battle, Yahweh, invincible in every way!”

Psalms‬ ‭24:4-8‬ ‭TPT‬‬

This new era is upon us. The old age is behind us. We are in the doorway to destiny. Shake off the vestiges of decay, distress, despair, burden and worry. They have no place here. Drop that baggage, and walk freely, purely, truly through the doorway of destiny to the new life I have for you here. It is beautiful. It is tremendous. It is glorious. It is a big, big change. Over here, no one will be crying for the old ways. Welcome to the new day.

How to Respond

  • Pray, Holy Spirit, thank You for bringing us out of this age into a new era and a new day. Thank You for Your love, strength and faithfulness. You are so good and so trustworthy. You are holy Lord. Show me what to do next. Show me what baggage I am carrying that needs to be dropped and left behind. Show me how to enter the doorway of destiny.
  • Declare, the Lord changes the times and seasons. He is Lord of all. The Lord reigns in glory, and glorious is His Name.
  • Decree, I will leave the death and decay and darkness behind. I will drop the baggage of worries, anxiety, fear and trouble that I have been knowingly or unknowingly carrying. And I will walk, filled with love and the light of the Lord through the doorway of destiny into the glorious new day, new era that the Lord has marked and made for us.
