Isaiah 27
Psalm 91
In that day, they will sing the song “The Vineyard of Delight.” “I, the Lord, watch over my vineyard of delight. Moment by moment, I water it in love and protect it day and night.”
Isaiah 27:2-3 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God of Israel say,
The pressure of what’s coming is what you are feeling. I’m birthing something out of your heart. You can feel the pressure of that now. Perfect change is upon you. Birthing change is upon you. Grace is real. (Or He may have said Grace Israel.) These are the birthing pains of the new thing I Am doing in you and will bring through you, to you and for others. The birthing regimen is light, because you have done the work leading into this moment. Give yourself some space. Give yourself some time. Even allow the emotions of this birthing moment to seize you and flow, because what is coming will change everything. What is coming will give the hard road and the past seasons of barrenness meaning.
The coming ones of Jacob’s tribes will take root. Israel’s branches will bud and blossom, and her beautiful fruit will cover the face of the earth.
Isaiah 27:6 TPT
You have walked through the crucible. You have walked through the fire. You have dwelled in the wilderness, but you were not wandering. You were communing with Me. You were honing new skills and learning how to stand against the sandy blasts of the winds of adversity. The wilderness taught you how to stand. It taught you greater dependence on Me than you have known. It revealed you to yourself. And you found out who you really are, because there were far fewer distractions in the wilderness than had been in previous places and times. You had to sit with yourself and learn yourself and see yourself. We burned off some rough edges. We burned away some things that were badges and credits and ego. What was pure remained. You have been in an intense purification season that has spanned seasons. And now you can see clearly that it is you and Me. You didn’t know that clearing out all of that baggage, burning off all of those parts that were not helpful, not of Me, not attractive — clearing those out created room, prepared the place for what I Am birthing now through you.
I will answer your cry for help every time you pray, and you will feel my presence in your time of pressure and trouble. I will be your glorious hero and give you a feast. I will satisfy you with a full life and with all that I do for you. For you will enjoy the fullness of my salvation!
Psalms 91:15-16 TPT
The travail you feel in your heart, in the Spirit is not going to give birth to wind. It will birth something so remarkable, so solid and sturdy, so beautiful that it will astonish you and delight you beyond what you could have imagined. It will make you new all over again. Follow your heart as it beats with mine. The birthing is upon us. You are in the birthing suite. The drumbeat of My favor will help you push this out, and My grace is the midwife. My grace will deliver it.
How to Respond
- Find more time to get quiet with the Lord. Give yourself extra time and space, because He is birthing something totally new in you.
- Pray, Holy Spirit I need a greater revelation of Your Presence. I need to feel Your nearness in this place of pressure, pain and pushing. Help me to be still and know that You are God. Thank You that this pain is temporary, and the joy on the other side will last a lifetime.
- Declare, the Lord knows the plans He has for me, plans for welfare and not calamity, to give me a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)
- Decree, the Lord is birthing something new in me. I could not see in the wilderness what this was all for, and I cannot see it now either, but it will bring forth something totally new and incredible that amazes and delights me. It will be something that fulfills and is a key to the Lord’s purposes for me.
