Today’s Readings:
Isaiah 34-35

8 For it is the day of the Lord’s revenge,
the year when Edom will be paid back for all it did to Israel.

Isaiah 34:8

The Lord says,
Resurrection. Justice. Triumph. Victory and valor. The truth will come out. It is starting to seep out even now. Even this week. Even this day. It is seeping out on the left, and their names and faces will be polluted by the truth.

Hope is rising. Joy is rising. A new song is rising in the hearts and the mouths, the lungs of My lovers. Strength, courage and bravery is rising. Ferocity is rising. A willingness to fight for what is right is rising. And My justice is rising to back them up.

9 The streams of Edom will be filled with burning pitch,
and the ground will be covered with fire.
10 This judgment on Edom will never end;
the smoke of its burning will rise forever.
The land will lie deserted from generation to generation.
No one will live there anymore.
11 It will be haunted by the desert owl and the screech owl,
the great owl and the raven.
For God will measure that land carefully;
he will measure it for chaos and destruction.
12 It will be called the Land of Nothing,
and all its nobles will soon be gone.

Isaiah 34:9-12

Truth is spilling out like an uncontrolled oil spill from an unidentified source. It is spilling out from beneath the surface, but it is rising very visibly to the surface. It is covering the surface, and it is polluting many names, many purchases and possessions, many faces and many hands. It is polluting many homes, and there is no substance on earth that can remove the stain of this pollution. The Name of Jesus, can indeed wash them white as snow if they will have Him. This oil spill of truth is black, slick, sticky and thick like oil. It knows no bounds and has no limits. No one observing or trying to quell this uncontrolled leak, this spill of the dirty truth knows the source or the depths of it. No one who is trying to stop the spill knows how much volume, how much truth has been amassed or how long the leaking can be sustained. The leaking will cause great horror and panic from those who are stained and those connected with the already stained ones. Those who previously for many years wore very smug faces will be overcome with rage, dread and a deep deep fear that the dark truth will implicate them, will stain them, will cover them, will overwhelm them.

The truth will rage. The truth will leak out, spill out, gush out, and then it will rage. This thick black sticky truth will bubble up from the depths, from unknown sources, and it will be a plague to those it touches, those to whom it adheres; and it will mark them for life. The substance of this truth will stick to them as tar, and they will find no relief, unless by the Name of Jesus.

35 Even the wilderness and desert will be glad in those days.
The wasteland will rejoice and blossom with spring crocuses.
2 Yes, there will be an abundance of flowers
and singing and joy!
The deserts will become as green as the mountains of Lebanon,
as lovely as Mount Carmel or the plain of Sharon.
There the Lord will display his glory,
the splendor of our God.
3 With this news, strengthen those who have tired hands,
and encourage those who have weak knees.
4 Say to those with fearful hearts,
“Be strong, and do not fear,
for your God is coming to destroy your enemies.
He is coming to save you.”

Isaiah 35:1-4

Another source will surge like a geyser from deep beneath the surface and it will be pure, crystalline water, refreshing to the masses though yet again tormenting to those covered by the filthy sticky black truth. This crystalline truth, this pure, unadulterated wellspring of truth will surge, and the people will drink from her and be satisfied. I Am the wellspring of crystalline truth.

5 And when he comes, he will open the eyes of the blind
and unplug the ears of the deaf.
6 The lame will leap like a deer,
and those who cannot speak will sing for joy!
Springs will gush forth in the wilderness,
and streams will water the wasteland.
7 The parched ground will become a pool,
and springs of water will satisfy the thirsty land.
Marsh grass and reeds and rushes will flourish
where desert jackals once lived.
8
And a great road will go through that once deserted land.
It will be named the Highway of Holiness.
Evil-minded people will never travel on it.
It will be only for those who walk in God’s ways;
fools will never walk there.

Isaiah 35:5-8

I Am the fountain of living water; and My truth will satisfy. My truth will heal. My truth will refresh, revive and resurrect. My truth will cause those seeds that have been lying dead and dormant underground to sprout and come to vibrant, energetic life. My wellspring of truth will cause an out of season spring harvest. It will not be any harvest, but it will be a bumper crop — an unexpected, out of season spring harvest with a bumper crop. And the people will celebrate, rejoice, dance, laugh and drink joyously from the geyser, the fountain, the wellspring of Me.

How to Respond

  • Examine your life and heart before the Lord, and ask Him to highlight any areas that need repentance and purifying. Make every effort to remain pure before the Lord.
  • Worship the Lord in reverence and thanksgiving for His goodness, His mercy, His faithfulness and His justice.
  • Pray, Lord thank You for who You are. Thank You for loving us, for pursuing us and for forgiving us when we fail. Thank You for Your faithfulness and for releasing the truth in the earth.
  • Declare, the Lord is causing the truth to come out — the good, bad and the ugly. All that has been hidden and spoken in secret will be revealed.
  • Decree, I am on the side of the Lord and His truth. I will stand, sing, cheer and fight for what is right. I will not be moved. I will be among those refreshed by His wellspring of truth and blessed with life more abundant.
