Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 1

21 How the faithful city has become a harlot,
She who was full of justice!
Righteousness once lodged in her,
But now murderers.
22 Your silver has become dross,
Your drink diluted with water.
23 Your rulers are rebels
And companions of thieves;
Everyone loves a bribe
And chases after rewards.
They do not defend the orphan,
Nor does the widow’s plea come before them.

Isaiah 1:21-23

The Lord says,
I Am imparting to you resurrection and the assurance of victory. There will be blood. The price is paid in blood.

You will experience resurrection that overcomes death, defeat and the grave. What looked hopeless is now turned around. What looked dead and gone is stirring beneath the surface. What looked like a total unexpected loss, an irretrievable loss has started to play a victory tune.

Blood is the price.
Blood is the price for the oppression suffered by My people. Blood is the price for profiting off the backs of slave labor. Blood is the price for stealing from My House and My offering. Blood is the price for harming My little ones and for leading little ones astray. Blood is the price, and blood will be paid.

18 “Come now, and let us reason together,”
Says the Lord,
“Though your sins are as scarlet,
They will be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They will be like wool.
19 “If you consent and obey,
You will eat the best of the land;
20 “But if you refuse and rebel,
You will be devoured by the sword.”
Truly, the mouth of the Lord has spoken.

Isaiah 1:18-20

I Am grieved at what I see — violence in the streets, thieving, abuse, murder and ill gotten gains. I Am beyond grief and beyond anger at what I see in the high places, the platforms and the seats of power. So many fools, idolaters, murderers and thieves. What a mockery of the ancient foundations. What an insult to Me and those who dearly love Me — those who founded this nation in blood and with deep travailing in prayer, with reverence and at great cost. What a mockery and a slap in the face of righteousness, decency, morality and truth.

24 Therefore the Lord God of hosts,
The Mighty One of Israel, declares,
“Ah, I will be relieved of My adversaries
And avenge Myself on My foes.
25 “I will also turn My hand against you,
And will smelt away your dross as with lye
And will remove all your alloy.
26 “Then I will restore your judges as at the first,
And your counselors as at the beginning;
After that you will be called the city of righteousness,
A faithful city.”

Isaiah 1:24-26

Blood is the price. Blood will be paid. Watch oh filthy leaders as you continue to exalt yourselves among the people. Watch as you rise up and use your word curses and your satanically breathed lies on the people. Watch as you rise up, as you exalt yourself, your name and your cause. Blood will be paid, because blood is the price. You have played the butcher of the people for long enough. Watch as My sword comes down. Do you think you shall remain standing? I laugh at your arrogance and your small minded self-deceiving ignorance. You shall not stand. You exalt yourselves up, yet you dine with pigs. Blood will be paid, because blood is the price.

27 Zion will be redeemed with justice
And her repentant ones with righteousness.
28 But transgressors and sinners will be crushed together,
And those who forsake the Lord will come to an end.

Isaiah 1:27-28

Repent if you can find the humanity still in your soul. Repent. Blood will be paid by those upon whose hands blood is found. Thus saith the Lord of Hosts. He is holy, and blessed be the word of the Lord.

How to Respond

  • Pray for the people in positions of power in America and the nations of the world. Pray that they would turn to the Lord and repent before it is too late.
  • Declare, the Lord is holy, and He will rise up to bring justice to His people. He will rise up to defend His Holy Name.
  • Decree, I will exalt the Lord above all else. I will be one found with clean hands and a pure heart.
