Today’s Readings:
Isaiah 59-60

59 Behold, the Lord’s hand is not so short
That it cannot save;
Nor is His ear so dull
That it cannot hear.

Isaiah 59:1

The Lord says,
Resurrection. Giant leaps forward. Racing forward at top speed. Advancing, overtaking, overcoming, resurrection in power and with breathtaking force.

Truth is being driven into the ground like a stake. Truth is bring driven into the ground like a foundational essential pillar. The truth is being so deeply rooted and so firmly driven into the ground, that she shall not be moved. The case will be built around her, and the web of lies will not hold together before her. The web of lies will be clearly seen for what it is — putrid, flimsy, despicable, an abonoination, and a home to evildoers who know no other way to live but spinning lies.

5 They hatch adders’ eggs and weave the spider’s web;
He who eats of their eggs dies,
And from that which is crushed a snake breaks forth.
6 Their webs will not become clothing,
Nor will they cover themselves with their works;
Their works are works of iniquity,
And an act of violence is in their hands.
7 Their feet run to evil,
And they hasten to shed innocent blood;
Their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity,
Devastation and destruction are in their highways.
8 They do not know the way of peace,
And there is no justice in their tracks;
They have made their paths crooked,
Whoever treads on them does not know peace.

Isaiah 59:5-8

They spin their lies. They spin lie after lie after lie, and they lure their bait right into their trap. They demolish and consume their victims. They smile in greed, in smug satisfaction and with impunity as they polish off their prey, only to spin more lies and lure in another unsuspecting victim. But their lies are like cobwebs to me, and I will dismantle them with one breath, with one swipe of My hand. I do not fear their flimsy filthy lies. I do not fear their never satiated flapping jaws. What should I fear of these despicable ones, whose appetites and lusts know no bounds and have no end? Should I fear ones who can’t even discipline their own mind, their own mouth, their own stomach? Please.

3 For your hands are defiled with blood
And your fingers with iniquity;
Your lips have spoken falsehood,
Your tongue mutters wickedness.
4 No one sues righteously and no one pleads honestly.
They trust in confusion and speak lies;
They conceive mischief and bring forth iniquity.

Isaiah 59:3-4

They have consumed their victims and devoured My people. They have spun their lies and terrorized their associates for long enough. I will put an end to it. I will pull the curtain back and show you who these fat devouring spiders are; and I will squash them with My very hand. It has been said I could do it in a day. But I can indeed do it in the blink of an eye, in a moment, in a flash. No, these venomous, devouring ones — their hearts are bankrupt and their souls are black as coal. They have given no room for repentance. In their arrogance they have exalted themselves above even Me. I will not let the stench of their hands — ever covered with death — continue to pollute the land.

60 “Arise, shine; for your light has come,
And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
2 “For behold, darkness will cover the earth
And deep darkness the peoples;
But the Lord will rise upon you
And His glory will appear upon you.
3 “Nations will come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising.
4
“Lift up your eyes round about and see;
They all gather together, they come to you.
Your sons will come from afar,
And your daughters will be carried in the arms.
5 “Then you will see and be radiant,
And your heart will thrill and rejoice;
Because the abundance of the sea will be turned to you,
The wealth of the nations will come to you.

Isaiah 60:1-4

Truth will rise up like four mighty pillars deeply rooted in the Earth. These pillars of truth are a glory to the pure ones, to the repentant ones, and they will be a shocking horror to many until their blind eyes are adjusted to the light of day, the light of truth. Then, even these formerly blinded ones will race forth with abandon and embrace truth as a long lost friend, as one dearly loved. They will fall to the ground in the presence of truth and open their hearts and lives to Me. My truth, which is the only truth, is immovable; but it has the power to move many. Though some have shunned her, though some have run from her and mocked her, when I shake loose the scales and when I open the blind eyes, many will be captivated, overcome and and deeply moved by the truth. They will find Me there, at the foot of the pillar of truth, and they will look up. As they do, they will see the truth of Jesus and the cross was right there all along. It wasn’t a hidden truth, it was the penultimate truth; but their blind eyes couldn’t see it, and their dull hearts couldn’t receive it. But now, with eyes and heart wide open, with stark truth blazing in her full glory before them, they will see Me; and they will be changed forever.

How to Respond

  • Cultivate peace, joy and expectation in your spirit.
  • Pray, Lord thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving us. Thank You for being truth and for being the One who executes justice and mercy in perfect measure. Lord, let our friends, neighbors and loved ones be among those whose blind eyes You open to truth and whose hearts are touched by the knowledge of You.
  • Declare, the Lord is moving in power, in speed and with decisive force to bring exposure and justice. The Lord is moving to open blind eyes and to shine the light of truth into hearts — so many can see, experience and receive the truth and be set free by Jesus.
  • Decree, I will stand with truth. I will not be moved from the place of truth. I will have open arms and an open heart for those whose eyes and hearts the Lord enables to see and receive truth. My family will all believe and accept the truth. So will my friend circle, neighborhood and community.
