Yahweh is high and lifted up; he dwells on high! He lavished his justice and righteousness on Zion! He will be your constant source of stability in changing times, and out of his abundant love he gives you the riches of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. Yes, the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure!
Isaiah 33:5-6 TPT
The Spirit of the Unshakeable Living God of Peace says,
I Am Your rock and firm foundation. In Me you don’t have to fear the shaking. You don’t even have to feel the shaking, even as you observe it taking place. I Am the stability of your times. I Am the great stabilizing force, because I Am immovable, and Mine is a Kingdom that cannot be shaken. That is your inheritance and your birthright. You don’t have to be shaken. You don’t have to be tossed by the winds and the waves of adversity. You can remain steadfast, as a pillar heavily anchored in Me.
Everyone who hears my teaching and applies it to his life can be compared to a wise man who built his house on an unshakable foundation. When the rains fell and the flood came, with fierce winds beating upon his house, it stood firm because of its strong foundation. “But everyone who hears my teaching and does not apply it to his life can be compared to a foolish man who built his house on sand. When it rained and rained and the flood came, with wind and waves beating upon his house, it collapsed and was swept away.
Matthew 7:24-27 TPT
As you see massive, massive waves sweep and crash in the days ahead, you are protected. And yours is a vantage point from up higher — above the reach of these massive cresting and crashing waves. Yours is a position that cannot be shaken. So don’t give in to fear. Don’t give in to panic. Don’t tremble at what your eyes see. Cast your gaze and your cares upon Me. I will give you rest. I Am your shelter and strong tower, a very present help in times of trouble. I Am your wraparound shield who protects you from all harm. I set my angels on assignment around you to keep you from stumbling lest you dash your foot on a stone. Whom or what shall you fear? I have provided protection and stability for you. They are your portion. I have provided them before the waves, and they remain unmoved and sure now that the waves are rising and will soon become very volatile, very stormy, very disruptive and very damaging.
These are extremely dangerous waves. They are unpredictable and they will cause a significant amount of damage. Only a very few will ride the waves unscathed. But you are not riding out this storm. You are not subject to the waves. The waves are subject to Me, and you are protected in the cleft of the rock, My hiding place — safe and secure from all alarm.
Lord, you are a paradise of protection to me. You lift me high above the fray. None of my foes can touch me when I’m held firmly in your wraparound presence! Keep me in this glory. Let me live continually under your splendor-shadow, hiding my life in you forever. Pause in his presence. You have heard my sweet resolutions to love and serve you, for I am your beloved. And you have given me an inheritance of rich treasures, which you give to all your devoted lovers. You treat me like a king, giving me a full and abundant life, years and years of reigning, like many generations rolled into one. I will live enthroned with you forever! Guard me, God, with your unending, unfailing love. Let me live my days walking in grace and truth before you. And my praises will fill the heavens forever, fulfilling my vow to make every day a love-gift to you!
Psalms 61:3-8 TPT
Recognize your position. Recognize your protection. Recognize Your rock and firm foundation, your anchor and the Kingdom to which you belong. In the King’s kingdom, there is no sinking sand.
How to Respond
- Trust the Lord and keep your eyes and heart fixed on Him. Refuse fear.
- Pray, Lord, show me how and where You have positioned me. Help me to see that I am protected and sheltered from the intensifying storm, from the massive waves that will come in and cause great damage. Help me to keep my eyes and heart fixed on you.
- Declare, the Lord my God is the stability of my times. He is my rock and firm foundation. He is my anchor, my tower of refuge and strength — a very present help in times of trouble. His is a Kingdom that cannot be shaken.
- Decree, I will not be shaken. I will not be moved. I will keep my eyes and my heart laser focused on the Lord. I will not be moved from my position by what I see taking place in the world. I will remain steadfast. I will remain anchored to the Lord and to the place He has called me to stand and serve.
