Isaiah 45:24-25
‘Yes! Only in Yahweh do I find righteousness and strength!’
And all who were angry with me
will come before me and regret it!
25 In Yahweh, all of Israel’s offspring will triumph and shine!”
Shine
The Lord says,
Let your light shine before men and women, so that they can see that I Am indeed your God. Shine in each role you hold. Shine in each place you operate. Bring My light so clearly and so radiantly with you, that all will know to whom you belong. Come up higher. As you come up higher and take your seat with Me in heavenly places, you will shine brightly. It will be clear to those around you that your perspective is different. Your perspective is better. Your vision goes farther, and you are not weighed down and defeated by circumstance, troubles and the chaos on the ground. When you come up higher, you live above the swirl and the churn, above the grit and the grime, above the petty things that get magnified when you are living from below. You will not be snagged by thorny issues and subjects when you live far above these things from your seat in heavenly places. Come up higher. The view is better. The air is clearer. The breeze is gentler.
Every day can be a good day when you live from this vantage point of up higher. When you live from the place of your birthright as a child of the King, every day can be a good day. You can make that choice. And your above the fray vantage point allows you to let any “evidence” of a bad day fall to the ground below. Live as the royalty you are. Stand tall. Take your rightful seat up high. Choose by an active and deliberate act of your will to have a good day every day. It is possible in this up higher living.
This is victorious living. You live above defeat, above circumstance, above troubles, issues and darkness. You live in the light and you reflect My light. This is victorious living. Stay up here, where it is your birthright to be. Don’t go down to the level of the battle, the level of the darkness, the level of the enemy’s domain. You can war more effectively from up here. You can see more clearly up here. Your voice and your authority carries across greater distances from up here. You start to slide and stumble when you go down there beneath for hand to hand combat. That’s not a winning position. Take your position up higher.
6 Wisdom is a gift from a generous God,
Proverbs 2:6-9
and every word he speaks is full of revelation
and becomes a fountain of understanding within you.
7–8 For the Lord has a hidden storehouse of wisdom
made accessible to his godly ones.
He becomes your personal bodyguard as you follow his ways,
protecting and guarding you as you choose what is right.
9 Then you will discover all that is just, proper, and fair,
and be empowered to make the right decisions
as you walk into your destiny.
The Lord is the Source
The Lord says,
Keep your eyes and your mind, your heart stayed on Me. I Am the source of mental health. I Am the source of right thinking. I Am the source of all truth. When you look to yourself, it’s dangerous. When you look inside for answers, it gets murky and dicey and warped. Look up, look to Me. You have to look beyond yourself, to the Source, to the only One above you, and that is Me. I Am your Creator, therefore I have all the answers. I know you inside and out, so come and find the answers you are seeking for the broken places, the wrong thinking and the hurting parts. They can all find their resolution in Me.
I have trained mechanics who can help you. But I Am the ultimate Source. They are flawed but many are wonderful and faithful and wise. Why would you go to mechanics who don’t have a direct line to the manufacturer? These are imposters who try to fix something that they don’t understand the source of and can’t fathom the workings of. Come to Me the Source, the True Source, and use My certified mechanics, those who speak freely and openly and directly about Me, about Jesus, about healing coming from above and not from within. This is how you can discern who my certified mechanics are for help in healing your heart and mind and life.
But God still loved us with such great love. He is so rich in compassion and mercy. 5 Even when we were dead and doomed in our many sins, he united us into the very life of Christ and saved us by his wonderful grace! 6 He raised us up with Christ the exalted One, and we ascended with him into the glorious perfection and authority of the heavenly realm, for we are now co-seated as one with Christ!
Ephesians 2:4-6
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. No one can come to Me, the Source of all life, light, truth and healing without believing in Him. If you need healing, seek Jesus. All of these things will be added to you from that point — the point of faith in Him, the point where you receive His grace and enter into eternal Kingdom living, the point where you enter freedom. This is the abundant life. This is the life of fun, of a great momentum and action. This is a lifestyle of overcoming, of running with the horses. This is the life you can live when you come through Jesus and join this up higher living in Me. This up higher living has got a pulse. It’s got a beat. It’s moving and its active. There’s plenty to do and fun to be had.
I alone give the freedom you’ve been looking for. I give it through Jesus. Choose Jesus, and you choose celebration living. You choose a joyous up higher lifestyle. You choose freedom — freedom from sin, regret, relational injuries, sickness and disease. Jesus frees from all of these. His is the true freedom and the true abundant life. Watch as He flings doors wide open for you that you couldn’t even perceive. Watch as He takes you by the hand and guides you into that wide open spacious life, as He leads you beside still waters, and as He refreshes your soul. Jesus is the Source of all freedom. Choose Him and come up higher.
How to Respond
- Say yes to Jesus. Apologize to Him for your sins and failures. Believe that He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died and was raised from the dead as a perfect substitutionary sacrifice for you. Commit your life to Him and thank Him for rescuing you from a life of being trapped by your sins. Thank Him for the freedom that comes with a life of unconditional love in Him.
- Ask the Lord to show you how to come up higher, how to resist the pressures and the troubles of daily living and to instead be seated with Him in heavenly places with a vantage point above the chaos and confusion.
- If you need help to restore right thinking, purpose or brokenness in your life, seek wise counsel from a Christ centered counselor or therapist.
- Fill your mind, heart and mouth with scriptures that remind you of your true place and true identity in Christ. These will draw you from the defensive position of “beneath” to the offensive position of “up higher.”
- Ask the Lord for fresh vision and for strategies on how to live your daily life up higher.
- Ask the Lord to put the new sound in your spirit to propel you to the action and the business that He has for you.
