Isaiah 43
Comfort, O comfort My people,” says your God.
Isaiah 40:1-5
2 “Speak kindly to Jerusalem;
And call out to her, that her warfare has ended,
That her iniquity has been removed,
That she has received of the Lord’s hand
Double for all her sins.”
3 A voice is calling,
“Clear the way for the Lord in the wilderness;
Make smooth in the desert a highway for our God.
4 “Let every valley be lifted up,
And every mountain and hill be made low;
And let the rough ground become a plain,
And the rugged terrain a broad valley;
5 Then the glory of the Lord will be revealed,
And all flesh will see it together;
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”
The Lord says,
Days of delight are here. Days of transformation are here. Days of new beginnings and dramatic change are here. It is confirmed. They are here.
Days of beautiful acts of service are here. Days of walking in love are here. Days of choosing relationship over agenda and love over to-do lists are here.
Days of Pentecost revival fire are here. Healing is here. Fresh faith and fresh understanding is here. Seeing the spiritual as clearly as the physical is here.
Great leaps forward and advances for humanity are here. Totally new days are here. Fresh air is here. Clear atmosphere is here. Easy access to Heaven is here.
8 Bring out the people who are blind, even though they have eyes,
Isaiah 43:8-11
And the deaf, even though they have ears.
9 All the nations have gathered together
So that the peoples may be assembled.
Who among them can declare this
And proclaim to us the former things?
Let them present their witnesses that they may be justified,
Or let them hear and say, “It is true.”
10 “You are My witnesses,” declares the Lord,
“And My servant whom I have chosen,
So that you may know and believe Me
And understand that I am He.
Before Me there was no God formed,
And there will be none after Me.
11 “I, even I, am the Lord,
And there is no savior besides Me.
These days of change, new beginnings and transformation are to reveal the truth. They are to reveal My character, My purposes and My Kingdom ways. I Am awakening the people. I Am resurrecting dead hearts. I Am opening eyes, ears and minds and showing the reality of Me, My Spirit, My truth, My ways, My Kingdom. A true encounter with Me, a true revelation of Me changes everything.
Buy truth and do not sell it. Hold on to your experience in Me, and do not allow yourself to be dissuaded, moved or shamed. Anchor yourself firmly in Me, and watch as I change everything. We are walking into such new days, such change, such overwhelmingly new beginnings that the whole scene will seem foreign to you. But it will be glorious and right and true.
19 “Behold, I will do something new,
Isaiah 43:19-21
Now it will spring forth;
Will you not be aware of it?
I will even make a roadway in the wilderness,
Rivers in the desert.
20 “The beasts of the field will glorify Me,
The jackals and the ostriches,
Because I have given waters in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert,
To give drink to My chosen people.
21 “The people whom I formed for Myself
Will declare My praise.
The celebration will be an ongoing one for the breakthrough, the change, the hearts won, the lives turned around and for a totally new way of life. Old ways of operating and thinking will expire and be put away. They will fall to the ground in their uselessness. These are days of new ways of doing, new ways of thinking, new ways of perceiving. It will be unfamiliar, but it will feel right. It will feel true, and you will be led that way by My Spirit.
These new days will be marked by the leading of My Spirit. I will take you to places you never dreamed by routes you never expected and through means you never imagined were possible. Change is here. Breakthrough is here. New life, new beginnings, a new world of opportunity and a whole new era is here. Words fail to describe the tremendous and unfathomable change of these days now and the ones you are walking into. In the days and weeks ahead, as you look up, all you will see around you is change, change, change. It will be change for the good. It will be change brought by victory. It will be My change.
How to Respond
- Trust that the Lord is moving you into days of His appointed change.
- Live in an attitude of thanksgiving, expectation and watchfulness for the changes that the Lord is bringing.
- Pray, Lord, help me to be one who embraces the victory, the change and the new that you send my way. Help me to discern Your hand and Your purposes.
- Declare, the Lord has been steadily moving us toward days of change, breakthrough and new beginnings. He has been moving us to a Great Awakening and a Pentecost Revival, and now we are crossing the threshold into those days.
- Decree, I will walk with the Lord no matter what changes come my way. I will walk in overcoming victory with Him, because the change He is bringing is destroying the structures, institutions and rhetoric of darkness. The Lord God Almighty’s victory brings abundant life, joy, peace, transformation and wholeness. This is His change.
