Today’s Readings:
Psalm 91
1 Corinthians 13
John 15

14 “Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name.
15 “He will call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will rescue him and honor him.
16 “With a long life I will satisfy him
And let him see My salvation.”

Psalm 91:14-16

The Lord says,
Release it to Me. Release your burdens, your concerns, your anxieties to Me. Stop holding on to them for dear life, and instead hold on to Me. Look to Me. Let My peace and My light flood your soul. Let your mind and heart be filled with rest, joy and hope. Trust Me with your now and with your future. I Am the Alpha and the Omega, the Lord God Eternal. I Am with You and for you. Whom or what shall you fear?

91 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress,
My God, in whom I trust!”
3 For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper
And from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with His pinions,
And under His wings you may seek refuge;
His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark.
5
You will not be afraid of the terror by night,
Or of the arrow that flies by day;
6 Of the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
Or of the destruction that lays waste at noon.

Psalm 91:1-6

Take refuge in Me. Take cover in the shelter of My wings. Come to Me and breathe easy. Come to Me, and release your death grip on pain, sorrow, regret and worry. Put it all in My hands, and worship. This is the key. Worship builds trust, and thanksgiving reminds you of My faithfulness. These are keys to letting go of fear, worry, doubt and panic. Abide in Me, and I will abide also in you. As you lean on Me, trust in Me, look to Me, rest in Me, you will find your soul soothed, your mind eased and your anxiety and fear melted.

4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. 5 I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.

John 15:4-5

Look to Me. Rejoice in Me. Hope in Me. Trust in Me. You will see that I provide. You will see that I bring miracles of connection, opportunity, restoration and healing. You will see that even in your mistakes and willful running from Me, I can and I will work all things together for good for those who love Me and are called according to My purpose. I Am absolutely good, absolutely love, absolutely reliable, and I won’t leave you hanging. Reach out to Me, and you will find My arm is already stretched out to you. I Am love.

4 Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, 5 does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, 6 does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

You don’t have to make everything so hard. You don’t have to spend so much time twisted up with anxiety, stress, worry and fear. Release those to Me. Release your heart and your future to Me, and watch as I show up for you. What can it possibly hurt to try? Watch as I wrap My love around you as a big comforting, protective blanket. Watch as I transform your vision and your outlook as you release those to Me. Watch as you see the very road beneath your feet straighten and light up into a beautiful new realities, into ease and into the ways of My pleasure.

7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.

John 15:7-8

It doesn’t have to be this hard. It doesn’t have to be as full of stress, anxiety, worry and fear as you make it. Those are constructs of your own mind made in an absence of faith, hope and love. As you turn them over to Me, as you instead grasp and grab hold of faith, hope and love, you will see the terrain and the landscape of your life change before your very eyes. Release your grip on the now. Release your grip on control. Hand them over to Me, and watch as I light up your life with joy, abundance, renewed faith, hope and love.

How to Respond

  • Let go of your worry, anxiety, fear and need for control. Release them to the Lord, and ask Him to show you how to stir up worship, thanksgiving and the discipline of trusting in Him.
  • Pray, Lord, in the Mighty Name of Jesus, I come to you with a mind and a heart that longs for change, that longs for Your rest and Your peace. Help me to lay down all I’m holding on to that’s not of you. Remind Me of your faithfulness throughout My life. Show me where you were in the difficulties. Help me to release my pain to you, and exchange it for healing.
  • Declare, the Lord created me to live in freedom and authority. I am the head and not the tail. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. I am releasing my future, my worries and my fears to the Lord, because He is faithful, and He is love.
  • Decree, the Lord has given me everything I need for life and godliness. He has made me to be an overcomer, and I will no longer sit under the weight of pain, regret, worry or fear. I decree that My God is more than able to provide for me, to guide me and to bless me beyond what I can dream or imagine. The enemy no longer has a grip on me. He has no place to hold the past or future over my head in torment. The Lord has forgiven me, He has a plan for me — for a future and a hope. I close off any foothold the enemy may have in my life and say, be loosed from me and my family in the Mighty Name of Jesus!
