Psalm 37
““For behold, in those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. And I will enter into judgment with them there, on behalf of my people and my heritage Israel, because they have scattered them among the nations and have divided up my land, and have cast lots for my people, and have traded a boy for a prostitute, and have sold a girl for wine and have drunk it.”
Joel 3:1-3 ESV
The Lord says,
Resurrection. A forceful emergence from death. An instantaneous change of reality. What was dead and gone is now not only forcefully and powerfully raised to life, but it is advancing, conquering and gaining tremendous ground. Resurrection, resurrection and more resurrection. My will is coming to life. My will is being birthed and is sprouting up from the barren soil. The tables have turned, and the conquering have become the conquered. The oppressors have become the captured and reviled. I Am flipping everything on its head. I Am flipping things right side up.
“The righteous shall inherit the land and dwell upon it forever. The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom, and his tongue speaks justice. The law of his God is in his heart; his steps do not slip.”
Psalm 37:29-31 ESV
Those who have chosen what is right, what is worthy, what is lovely and pure — they will land on their feet, equipped and ready to run. Those who have chosen the side of truth, honor and liberty are equipped to run. I have equipped them to run in their communities, states and nation. I have equipped them to run, to speak the truth loudly and to win. I will take them from running to reigning. I will take them from glory to glory, from fight to victory and from the watchtower to the arena.
“Proclaim this among the nations: Consecrate for war; stir up the mighty men. Let all the men of war draw near; let them come up. Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears; let the weak say, “I am a warrior.” Hasten and come, all you surrounding nations, and gather yourselves there. Bring down your warriors, O Lord.”
Joel 3:9-11 ESV
The fight to get into the arena has been fierce but marked by My grace. My warriors will now descend into the arena for the next fights. The other side will send out their weak and their mangled first to test the strength of the warriors I have sent in to the arena. My warriors will shred them to pieces, and the other side will be forced to offer up more and more weaklings, and they will see the body count pile up in the arena. My sent ones, My equipped ones, My anointed arena warriors will destroy one after the next after the next. Then when the weak ones, the underlings and the hirelings have been finished, the opposition will be forced to appear in the arena themselves. Some will freeze and die in paralyzed shock before the fight can even properly begin. Other arrogant ones will come into the arena with unfair, prohibited weapons. Though their pasts are shrouded in darkness and they are wielding illicit weapons, they will receive a very destabilizing blow that sets up the end of the fight. After that initial destabilizing blow, it will take 6 more powerful blows in quick succession to eliminate them. Then they will be gone forever.
“Mark the blameless and behold the upright, for there is a future for the man of peace. But transgressors shall be altogether destroyed; the future of the wicked shall be cut off.”
Psalm 37:37-38 ESV
My arena warriors are coming in fresh, trained and equipped. Those from the other side are not familiar with worthy opponents. They are not familiar with a level playing field. They are not familiar with being on the back foot. But they will find all of this, they will face all of this in the arena; and they will lose it all. Not one of them will remain standing, and not one of them will remain hidden in the shadows. My arena warriors are drawing them out for the fight, and they will take them down — each and every one. My arena warriors will draw the opposition out. As detestable creatures are drawn out with very stinky bait and as big game are lured by food into vulnerable positions on the hunter’s territory, so too will these oppressive opposing ones be trapped, caught red-handed and dealt with.
You will see a powerful resurrection. You will see My will being done on the earth. You will see My powerful, equipped warriors of truth descend from the watch tower into the arena boldly to conquer every foe. Truth, honor, righteousness and justice will be victorious. And freedom is the prize.
How to Respond Lord
- Ask the Lord to show you who to support in the midterm elections — at every level of governance.
- Pray, Lord, thank You for raising up warriors of truth, justice and honor. Thank You for calling them down from the watchtower and giving them admittance into the arena. I pray for the health, protection, wisdom and boldness of these anointed warriors of Yours Lord and their families, homes and businesses. Show me how to support them — in prayer, with finances and My voice. Help me to speak up and stand boldly alongside them.
- Declare, the Lord is resurrecting a powerful movement of truth, honor, righteousness and justice. He has equipped many anointed ones to run. They will make it into the arena, and they will lay the enemy bare. They will conquer every foe, and freedom will be the great reward.
- Decree, I stand on the side of truth, honor, righteousness and justice. I will stand shoulder to shoulder in support of men and women of valor and truth.
