Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 41
17 “The afflicted and needy are seeking water, but there is none,
Isaiah 41:17
And their tongue is parched with thirst;
I, the Lord, will answer them Myself,
As the God of Israel I will not forsake them.
The Spirit of the Lord says,
Breakthrough will come in the name of Jesus. Surges of truth and wellsprings of refreshing will appear. They will burst forth like geysers, and they will be uncontrollable. The truth of Me and all manner of truth will surge forth for the world to see, to taste, to feel and experience. Truth is being unleashed in the earth, and it will rain down on the people. It will touch the people. It will refresh, revive and awaken the people. Truth that has been beneath the surface has been building in pressure, in power and in strength. It will burst forth with the power of a mighty explosive cannon, but it will not just be a single blast. It will be a continuous, ongoing drenching blast.
18 “I will open rivers on the bare heights
Isaiah 41:18-20
And springs in the midst of the valleys;
I will make the wilderness a pool of water
And the dry land fountains of water.
19 “I will put the cedar in the wilderness,
The acacia and the myrtle and the olive tree;
I will place the juniper in the desert
Together with the box tree and the cypress,
20 That they may see and recognize,
And consider and gain insight as well,
That the hand of the Lord has done this,
And the Holy One of Israel has created it.
You have placed your trust in Me, your hope in Me. You have prayed for truth, and now I Am setting truth free. To some it will seem like a tempest and a storm. To some it will seem like a never ending torrential downpour of torment and anguish. To many, to My lovers, to those with room in their hearts for Me, for truth, it will be like a beautiful spring day and a delightful refreshing to the body, mind and soul. It will be an awakening. It will be nourishment to the land itself. It will heal many deep wounds, and it will clear the fog, the haze, the grime, and the filth from polluted minds and hearts. It will wash clean many dirty faces and hands. It will bring a great cleansing to the people and to the land.
The source of truth is never ending. The depths of truth are unfathomable. The downpour of this opening and unleashing, this surging and this downpour of truth never has to end. It will resurrect the hearts and lives of many. It will open eyes that had been sealed shut to the truth. It will soften the soil of hearts that were dry and barren. It will change the complexion of the earth, and it will release freedom to the people.
How to Respond
- Delight in the Lord. Seek His heart, His face, and seek Him in His Word.
- Pray, Lord, thank You that You are bringing refreshing, awakening, cleansing and healing to us and to many in the form of a great outpouring of truth. We pray for those who will be tormented by the truth, that they would turn from their wickedness and that they would give their hearts and lives over to You. We pray safety over those delivering the truth. Protect them, embolden and strengthen them as they bring exposure to what has been hidden.
- Declare, the Lord is unleashing truth like a mighty geyser with unlimited power, resources and depths.
- Decree, the Lord’s mighty release of truth will bring a great awakening, refreshing and reviving. It will bring resurrections, cleansing and freedom.
