Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 44
Isaiah 49
23 Shout for joy, O heavens, for the Lord has done it!
Isaiah 44:23-26
Shout joyfully, you lower parts of the earth;
Break forth into a shout of joy, you mountains,
O forest, and every tree in it;
For the Lord has redeemed Jacob
And in Israel He shows forth His glory.
24 Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, and the one who formed you from the womb,“I, the Lord, am the maker of all things,
Stretching out the heavens by Myself
And spreading out the earth all alone,
25 Causing the omens of boasters to fail,
Making fools out of diviners,
Causing wise men to draw back
And turning their knowledge into foolishness,
26 Confirming the word of His servant
And performing the purpose of His messengers.
It is I who says of Jerusalem, ‘She shall be inhabited!’
And of the cities of Judah, ‘They shall be built.’
And I will raise up her ruins again.
The Spirit of the Lord says,
My promises never end, never expire, never run out. Do you see the day of My promise rapidly approaching? Do you see it drawing nearer and nearer? If you look, you can see that you are almost standing directly beneath the rainbow of My promises. They are not far-off and distant as they once were. When you glanced at them as you went about your business, you didn’t take note that they were drawing nearer. They have been steadily drawing nearer and indeed are almost hovering directly overhead.
14 But Zion said, “The Lord has forsaken me,
Isaiah 49:14-17
And the Lord has forgotten me.”
15 “Can a woman forget her nursing child
And have no compassion on the son of her womb?
Even these may forget, but I will not forget you.
16 “Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands;
Your walls are continually before Me.
17 “Your builders hurry;
Your destroyers and devastators
Will depart from you.
Momentarily I will rain down My promises like a sun shower upon you. My promises will catch you like a summer storm, and you will be drenched in fulfillment. You will be overwhelmed by the torrent of My goodness. You will be dripping with reward, with My goodness, with My faithfulness; and you will hold in your hands the promises I have made. The days of the far-off promises are behind us. The days of the distant dreams have passed. This is a season of fulfillment storming out of Heaven with a mighty, mighty, powerful overwhelming torrent. And good news, change and My grace will be everywhere you look. My promises will be fulfilled —-fully fulfilled — in this hour. My grace, My treasure, and My reward will be poured out super-abundantly in a way that overwhelms even the biggest dreamers. The most faith-filled believers will be stunned by the abundance and shocked by the overwhelming goodness that rains down heavily upon them. This is the day of being shocked by My goodness. This is the day of being astounded by My tailor-made perfect fit, hand-delivered promises. Truth will rain down with it. Grace will pour down with it.
18 “Lift up your eyes and look around;
Isaiah 49:18-21
All of them gather together, they come to you.
As I live,” declares the Lord,
“You will surely put on all of them as jewels and bind them on as a bride.
19 “For your waste and desolate places and your destroyed land—
Surely now you will be too cramped for the inhabitants,
And those who swallowed you will be far away.
20 “The children of whom you were bereaved will yet say in your ears,
‘The place is too cramped for me;
Make room for me that I may live here.’
21 “Then you will say in your heart,
‘Who has begotten these for me,
Since I have been bereaved of my children
And am barren, an exile and a wanderer?
And who has reared these?
Behold, I was left alone;
From where did these come?’”
Promises from Heaven will pour out so generously people will ask if there is anything left for us in Heaven. It will look like all of Heaven has come to Earth. Indeed Heaven will invade Earth. Indeed. My Kingdom will come, and My will shall be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. But fear not, ever greater things than these await you in My glorious gift-place called Heaven. Heaven is upon you. Promises fulfilled, miracles abounding are upon you. The day is not far-off, not distant, not out of arm’s reach. No My dear one, it is upon you. It is nearly overhead. Soon it will flood you and change everything. The flood rains of My Promise Days are upon you.
How to Respond
- Stir up your hope, your faith, your expectation of the Lord’s unceasing, unfathomable, endless goodness.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Thank You that You have not forgotten us. You never leave us nor forsake us. You never fail us or lie to us, and You never lose. Just as Your mercies are new every morning, so Your promises are always true. They never expire, and You are moving to fulfill them now. Thank You Lord for the coming flood of Your goodness and promises fulfilled. Help me to live in eager expectation, full of faith for all that You have said You will do. You are so good Lord. Thank You. I love You Lord.
- Declare, all of the Lord’s promises are yes and amen.
- Decree, I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. No promise made by the Lord will ever fail. I will experience the total and super-abundant fulfillment, the overwhelming perfect fulfillment of the Lord’s promises to me. I will be caught in the flood of the Lord’s goodness, and I will be drenched with His reward and faithfulness.
