Today’s Reading:
Romans 8
”… But hope means that we must trust and wait for what is still unseen. For why would we need to hope for something we already have? So because our hope is set on what is yet to be seen, we patiently keep on waiting for its fulfillment.“
Romans 8:24-25 TPT
The Spirit of the Living God says,
I answer prayer. I Am the God who hears, who sees and who answers prayer. Your prayers are not just floating out into the ether and evaporating forever. I see you. I hear you, and I answer prayer. I keep track of every one, and I Am moving to fulfill the answers to your prayer. Your prayer is precious to Me. I treasure it. I protect it, and I take care of it until it’s time for fulfillment. Your prayer is like a seed that I plant in a beautiful prayer garden. I water it. I cultivate it, and I bring it to maturity in its time. Your persistence feeds and fertilizes, brings nutrients and health to that seed.
”And in a similar way, the Holy Spirit takes hold of us in our human frailty to empower us in our weakness. For example, at times we don’t even know how to pray, or know the best things to ask for. But the Holy Spirit rises up within us to super-intercede on our behalf, pleading to God with emotional sighs too deep for words. God, the searcher of the heart, knows fully our longings, yet he also understands the desires of the Spirit, because the Holy Spirit passionately pleads before God for us, his holy ones, in perfect harmony with God’s plan and our destiny.“
Romans 8:26-27 TPT
I do answer prayer, and this is a season of a bumper harvest. Just as pecan trees take 7 years to produce fruit and other fruit trees may take more or less time, so too are your prayers. Some we have been cultivating together for a long time. Others have been freshly planted. But each will grow and produce at different rates. This is a season where many different types of prayers will bear fruit. This is a time where those prayers that have the deepest roots — because they have been planted and cultivated and nourished the longest — will begin to bud with beautiful sweet fruit. And you will feel as if the fruit of that prayer dropped straight from Heaven into your hand. Things that have felt held back, delayed and even as if there was a great brick wall preventing your prayer from being heard or answered — even those prayers will bear their first fruits in this season. Remember My instruction on first fruits? It will be wise to offer those first fruits of answered prayer to Me. It shows faith that you are trusting, believing and expecting much more.
”So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together for good, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose.“
Romans 8:28 TPT
My heart is to rain down blessings, fruit and an abundant harvest of answered prayer on My lovers, on those whose hearts are weary, on those whose hearts are bruised, broken and even shattered. Is it not a just cause? Healing balm will flow like honey, will pour out like sweet honey on aching, wounded, broken and even shattered hearts in these days of My abundant fruitful delivery of answered prayer. Watch for fulfillment. Watch for restoration. Watch for hope deferred to become a tree of life. Instruct your restored heart to offer to Me the first fruits of these answered prayers, and watch how I bless them even more.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord thank You in advance for this season of answered prayer, for this season of abundance and a bumper crop of answers to prayer. Help me to stir up my faith, hope and trust in You. Help me to get my hopes up and continue to cultivate those prayers with You until I see not only the first fruits, but the abundance of fruit fall into my hand from Heaven.
- Declare, the Lord never lies, never leaves, never fails, never forsakes, forgets or ignores. He has heard and seen my prayers. He is cultivating the prayer seeds that I have planted and bringing them into maturity, fruitfulness and abundance.
- Decree, I will taste and see that the Lord is good. I will walk in an abundance and great bumper harvest of answered prayer. I will offer the first fruits of my answered prayer back to the Lord as an act of faith that He will pour out the full measure in abundance.
