Psalm 139
You formed my innermost being, shaping my delicate inside and my intricate outside, and wove them all together in my mother’s womb. I thank you, God, for making me so mysteriously complex! Everything you do is marvelously breathtaking. It simply amazes me to think about it! How thoroughly you know me, Lord!
Psalms 139:13-14 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God, the Father of Heavenly Lights say, I’m dropping morsels in your heart — morsels of My goodness, morsels of dreams. I Am revealing to you dreams long-forgotten, long-dismissed, long-brushed over, and I’m dropping them into your heart as a little morsel of goodness and a hint of what is to come. This is a season to walk in My goodness. This is a time to walk uninhibited in My goodness and in a greater revelation that I Am absolutely good, that My dreams and My heart, My purposes and plans for you are tailor-designed for you. Don’t you think the artist, the designer knows best? Don’t you know that I, more than any other know what delights your heart and causes you to operate at your best for maximum return, in maximum joy, specifically because the work is fit for purpose and the mission matches the vessel?
Keep trusting in the Lord and do what is right in his eyes. Fix your heart on the promises of God, and you will dwell in the land, feasting on his faithfulness. Find your delight and true pleasure in Yahweh, and he will give you what you desire the most. Give God the right to direct your life, and as you trust him along the way, you’ll find he pulled it off perfectly!
Psalms 37:3-5 TPT
I’m dropping hints and dreams of old dreams, old desires into your heart afresh to awaken your spirit, to awaken the dreamer in you once again. This is a time of fresh anointing. This is a season of My very specific grace. You will know that I made the way, I opened the door, I cleared the path, because none of what I Am about to do, none of the opportunities and connections I Am about to make would have ever even been on your radar— even yesterday. Watch for some wild turnabouts. It will be like this: you were facing one direction, and My morsel of a dream got dropped in your spirit. It was followed by a door that got swung wide open and suddenly you began walking into totally new purpose in a totally new direction for a totally new reason. And it was all dreamt and desired and longed for by your heart long ago. Watch old dreams not only resurface but come into play in exceedingly fast ways. Expect a rapid change. Anticipate a complete and total pivot. This is life in the Spirit. This is part of Me rearranging My warriors on the battlefield. This is the time of new alignments and changes for lifelong assignments.
When Yahweh delights in how you live your life, he establishes your every step.
Psalms 37:23 TPT
Some of you will enter into temporary assignments that open the way for longer-term, even life-long adventure assignments. Some of you are stepping into the beginning of those long-term adventure assignments now. Some of you will have a life of mini assignments that look like a bridge fashioned together over time. No two stories are alike. No plan can be prescribed for another. You are tailor-made, and My plans and dreams and appointments for you are as well. Don’t be surprised when something old and long-dormant is awakened in your heart this week. Don’t be surprised if I make a connection that puts your life in a totally new direction. I Am realigning and mobilizing my troops for the next phase, and where I place you will fill you with wonder and absolute delight. It may terrify you, but it will fill you with delight as you begin to walk in it. So walk in it.
How to Respond
- Expect the Lord to reawakening old dreams in your heart and open new doors — even this week.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You for knowing me better than anyone knows me, including myself. Thank You that Your plans and purposes for me are for my good, for my benefit and are specifically designed for me. Help me to not shrink back in fear from those old dreams I had when I was younger and dreamt bigger. Help me instead to open my eyes and my heart as You reawaken dreams in me. Help me to walk through the doors that You swing wide open. I don’t want to miss one adventure, one assignment, one opportunity, one connection that You have for me.
- Declare, Lord, you know everything there is to know about me. You perceive every movement of my heart and soul, and you understand my every thought before it even enters my mind. You are so intimately aware of me, Lord. You read my heart like an open book and you know all the words I’m about to speak before I even start a sentence! You know every step I will take before my journey even begins. You’ve gone into my future to prepare the way, and in kindness you follow behind me to spare me from the harm of my past. You have laid your hand on me! (Psalms 139:1-5 TPT)
- Decree, I will not shrink back from old dreams that the Lord resurfaces. I will look with expectancy at what the Lord will do. I will walk through the doors He opens, and I will align with the people He brings for these purposes. I will live in expectation and in full delight and joy — because the Lord is good. He knows me inside and out, and He created me for good works that He prepared for me in advance — for such a time as this.
