Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 26
26 In that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah:
Isaiah 26:1-4
“We have a strong city;
He sets up walls and ramparts for [a]security.
2 “Open the gates, that the righteous nation may enter,
The one that [b]remains faithful.
3 “The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace,
Because he trusts in You.
4 “Trust in the Lord forever,
For in [c]God the Lord, we have an everlasting Rock.
The Spirit of the Lord says,
I will cover you, and I will hide you. I will lift you up and promote you, reveal you as the moment and the circumstance calls for it. Don’t try to lift yourself up. Don’t try to hide yourself. Let Me be the one who both conceals you and reveals you as the moment calls for it. Trust in My faithfulness. Trust in My character. I will not lead you astray, and I haven’t led you down this path for nothing. This is the path to promotion, advancement and My glory. But stay in step with Me. Remain hidden as I hide, and don’t shy away when I put you forward. I alone know the reasons, the circumstances and the moment.
7 The way of the righteous is smooth;
Isaiah 26:7-9
O Upright One, make the path of the righteous level.
8 Indeed, while following the way of Your judgments, O Lord,
We have waited for You eagerly;
Your name, even Your memory, is the desire of our souls.
9 At night [d]my soul longs for You,
Indeed, [e]my spirit within me seeks You diligently;
For when the earth [f]experiences Your judgments
The inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.
Trust in Me and remain faithful to Me. Remain entwined in Me, and I will lead you faithfully. This is a time of powerful advancement. This is a time for My cause and My power to surge. Don’t try to muscle it through with your own strength. Do what I have called you to do. Don’t try to manipulate or take advantage of the moment. I will bring the pieces together. I will cause the alignment. As long as you are faithful and doing what I have called you to do, where I have called you to do it, your destiny and your moment will lock into place for takeoff.
This is a time of great alignment for synergy among My lovers. This is a time of a great interlocking for launching and takeoff. No one can manipulate or orchestrate what I Am causing to come together. What I Am building through the work of your hands and the steps of your obedience is unfathomable. It will take your breath away. It will blow your mind. It is for your benefit, for your delight, and it is for the sake of My Name and My Kingdom. What I Am doing is tangible evidence that My Kingdom has come, My will is being done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
12 Lord, You will establish peace for us,
Isaiah 26:12-13, 15
Since You have also performed for us all our works.
13 O Lord our God, other masters besides You have ruled us;
But through You alone we [i]confess Your name.
15 You have increased the nation, O Lord,
You have increased the nation, You are glorified;
You have extended all the borders of the land.
Watch as the work of your hands echoes the voice of My instruction. Watch as the pieces of your life and the details of your efforts align within a bigger picture that will astound and bring Me much glory. You can’t cause this to happen. You can’t move the pieces into place, but you can walk in obedience. You can stay in lockstep. You can keep your heart on My chest, and watch as My strong right arm of favor creates a blessing so big, you will need help to reel it in. These are My times, marked by My will and My ways. No one will manipulate or shift Me from My position or plan. It’s all for My glory, for My Name’s sake and for the beautiful future of My children. Walk with Me. Stay right here with Me.
How to Respond
- Pray, Holy Spirit, thank You for Your plan and for Your immovability. Help me to be on task, about My Father’s business. Help me to hear Your voice and move quickly on Your instruction. I want to be right where You tell me to be doing the work You have called me to do.
- Declare, the Lord determines the times and seasons. He orchestrates situations and circumstances based on His unfathomable plans, His love and His beautiful design for us.
- Decree, I will be found doing what the Lord has called me to do, where He has called me to do it. I will walk in obedience and in delight of Him. I will not be moved from my station by anyone but the Lord.
