Psalms 23
Yahweh is my best friend and my shepherd. I always have more than enough. He offers a resting place for me in his luxurious love. His tracks take me to an oasis of peace near the quiet brook of bliss.
Psalms 23:1-2 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
I have brought you to a place of ease — ease in Me. It’s a place you have entered because you know Me. My scrolls of you are secure in My warehouse. They are beautiful, protected and secure. My scrolls of you are many, and I never run out of paper to write about you. You are my heart’s delight. I love to see you learn to walk in My ways. I love to see you hunger for understanding and deeper access into the chambers of My heart. My scrolls of you are many. They fill rooms of My warehouse in Heaven.
Draw nearer and ever nearer My dear. I cherish you and long to give you access to hidden things, and deeply buried secrets from My treasure trove of mysteries.
That’s where he restores and revives my life. He opens before me the right path and leads me along in his footsteps of righteousness so that I can bring honor to his name.
Psalms 23:3 TPT
It is a beautiful thing to see where you are going. I have marked out the path. I have laid the ground work and already paved the way. All you have to do is lean in and heed My voice as I say, this is the way, walk in it. Walk in My way dear one. Walk with your hand in Mine dear child. I will walk with you and lead you the whole way. It will be a great adventure. Hasn’t it already been?
So why would I fear the future? Only goodness and tender love pursue me all the days of my life. Then afterward, when my life is through, I’ll return to your glorious presence to be forever with you!

The best days are yet to come. Your best days are still ahead. This is the way, walk in it.
How to Respond
- Draw nearer to the Lord.
- Pray, Lord thank You for Your nearness, for making Yourself accessible and present. Help me to keep my head on Your chest. Help me to walk faithfully hand-in-hand with You in the beautiful path You have laid before me. Thank You for preparing the way and leading my every step.
- Declare, Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. — Psalm 119:105
- Declare, Here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Don’t give up ; don’t be impatient; be entwined as one with the Lord. Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep on waiting— for he will never disappoint you! — Psalms 27:14
- Decree, I will draw near to the Lord, and He will draw near to me. I will be entwined as one with the Lord, and He will appoint my every step. His path for me has already been paved, and He delights to walk with me the entire way. I will be quickly and fully obedient to His instruction. I will heed His voice. My best days are yet to come.
