Listen! Are you thirsty for more? Come to the refreshing waters and drink. Even if you have no money, come, buy, and eat. Yes, come and buy all the wine and milk you desire— it won’t cost a thing. Why spend your hard-earned money on something that can’t nourish you or work so hard for something that can’t satisfy? So listen carefully to me and you’ll enjoy a sumptuous feast, delighting in the finest of food.
Isaiah 55:1-2 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Grace, grace is upon you for the work I have called you to do. Don’t grow weary in well doing. Don’t allow weariness to overtake you and tempt you out of this fight. Strengthen yourself in Me. Refresh yourself in Me. I Am the fountain of life. Wellsprings of living water flow from Me. Drink and be refreshed. Come, and eat and drink without money.
Yahweh’s Angel suddenly appeared to Gideon and said, “Yahweh’s presence goes with you, man of fearless courage!” “Me?” Gideon replied. “But sir, if Yahweh is truly with us, why have all these troubles come to us? Where are all his miracle-wonders that our fathers told us about when they said, ‘Did not Yahweh deliver us out of Egypt?’ But now Yahweh has abandoned us and put us under the power of the Midianites.” Then Yahweh himself faced Gideon directly and said, “Am I not sending you? With my presence you have all you need. Go in the strength that you now have and rescue Israel from Midian’s power!”
Judges 6:12-14 TPT
The fruit is here, and it’s ripe for the picking. But you are commissioned to pick fruit in a war zone. Your role is to pick the fruit in a war zone. The fruit is ripe for the picking, and I have commissioned you to go out into the war zone and pick this fruit — its hearts, souls, lives. They have grown in the seemingly barren place, in the seemingly barren trees they have grown despite the circumstances, and they are ripe for the picking. Go out into that war zone. Put Me on as your great shield. I will send angelic help and protection. But your job, your assignment is to boldly go into the war zone and pick that fruit that is waiting there, ripe for the harvest.
We appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, to instruct those who are not in their place of battle. Be skilled at gently encouraging those who feel themselves inadequate. Be faithful to stand your ground. Help the weak to stand again. Be quick to demonstrate patience with everyone.
1 Thessalonians 5:14 TPT
I will not contain them. These who are being picked in the war season are born fighters. They will be born again fighters. And I will not restrain them. They are eager to get in the fight, and I will not contain them. I will unleash them on the world, on the enemy, so it will be important, vital to their success that you teach them spiritual warfare. They understand carnal warfare. They excel at carnal warfare, and they can see and are very aware of the spiritual battles that rage all around. But equip them. Teach them. Impart wisdom, knowledge and understanding to them on how to operate in the spiritual war, so they can succeed, so they do not become needless casualties of war, so they do not become wounded or maimed through a lack of knowledge, sight or understanding. Teach them the ways of warfare. Commission them, and remind them where base command is, where the refuge is, where the refueling and regrouping place to be given fresh orders is, and then send them out into the battle.
They may seem green, but they were made for this. Discern between your parental instincts and hesitations and true warfare readiness. Don’t hold them back one second longer than they need to be. We need them in the war. They are a vital, raw, skilled warrior force who must be unleashed for such a time as this, in this war. Don’t hold them and shelter them and coddle them one second longer the Spirit instructs. I made them for war.
How to Respond
- Pray, Holy Spirit help me to see and to navigate this command — to go out into the war zone to harvest hearts, souls & lives and to train them for spiritual warfare. Help me to discern by Your Spirit how to equip and impart a blessing of knowledge, wisdom, insight and understanding to each one. Help me to not hold them back any longer than they need for training but to unleash them in the precise moment they are ready.
- Declare, But since we belong to the day, we must stay alert and clearheaded by placing the breastplate of faith and love over our hearts, and a helmet of the hope of salvation over our thoughts. For God has not destined us for wrath but to possess salvation through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. He gave his life for us so that we may share in resurrection life in union with him—whether we’re awake or asleep. Because of this, encourage the hearts of your fellow believers and support one another, just as you have already been doing. — 1 Thessalonians 5:8-11 TPT
- Decree, the Lord is calling His people to harvest hearts, souls and lives that are ripe for the picking in the midst of a war zone. He has commissioned us for equipping and training and impartation to these soon-to-be new believers, and He has made them for war. I will be faithful to go out into the war zone to receive them, to share the gospel of Christ’s Kingdom with them, to train them for spiritual warfare and to release them into battle.
