Today’s Reading:
Psalm 73
“No one can deny it—God is really good to Israel and to all those with pure hearts. But I nearly missed seeing it for myself. Here’s my story: I narrowly missed losing it all. I was stumbling over what I saw the wicked doing. For when I saw the boasters with such wealth and prosperity, I became jealous over their smug security. Indulging in whatever they wanted, going where they wanted, doing what they wanted, and with no care in the world, no pain, no problems—they seemed to have it made. They lived as though life would never end. They didn’t even try to hide their pride and opulence. Cruelty and violence are parts of their lifestyle. Pampered and pompous, vice oozes from their souls; they overflow with vanity. They’re such snobs—looking down their noses. They even scoff at God! They are nothing but bullies threatening God’s people. They are loudmouths with no fear of God, pretending to know it all— windbags full of hot air, impressing only themselves. Yet the people keep coming back to listen to more of their nonsense. They tell their cohorts, “God will never know. See, he has no clue of what we’re doing.””
Psalms 73:1-11 TPT
The Spirit of the Lord says,
Transformation is come. Transformational change is come. I’ve sent My change agents on the wind, and transformational changes are come. Where wickedness and evil have prospered, where ease was their lot, My change agents are stirring that up, and their road is about to become very difficult. Their road is about to become almost too treacherous to travel. The road for the wicked is about to become a very difficult one to walk, to navigate, even to stand upon.
“These are the wicked ones I’m talking about! They never have to lift a finger, living a life of ease while their riches multiply. Have I been foolish to play by the rules and keep my life pure? Here I am suffering under your discipline day after day. I feel like I’m being punished all day long. If I had given in to my pain and spoken of what I was really feeling, it would have sounded like unfaithfulness to the next generation. When I tried to understand it all, I just couldn’t. It was too puzzling—too much of a riddle to me. But then one day I was brought into the sanctuaries of God, and in the light of glory, my distorted perspective vanished. Then I understood that the destiny of the wicked was near!”
Psalms 73:12-17 TPT
I Am bringing difficulty and hardship to the roads of the wicked, and things will not go well with them. Troubles will beset them and problems will result in their exposure. Besides difficulty and hardship, I am setting confusion in their camp. I will confuse their communications. I will confuse their instructions, and I will confuse their evil plans. They will be hamstrung by disorder, confusion and change. Change is coming that they can’t understand. Change is coming that is not orchestrated by their hands or handlers. Change is coming that was not set up, was not established for their benefit. Change is coming that disrupts their wicked plans and unravels and exposes their wicked lines of communications. Names upon names upon names in those lines of communication will be exposed as if it was an unraveled spool of thread with many many many names of co-conspirators, beneficiaries, hosts of evil and financiers. They will be so stunned to see major changes coming which they had not anticipated, nor had they orchestrated. So many major changes, most major changes in their time have been of their own making, by their own hand for their own benefit. This will not be so.
“They’re the ones who are on the slippery path, and God will suddenly let them slide off into destruction to be consumed with terrors forever! It will be an instant end to all their life of ease; a blink of the eye and they’re swept away by sudden calamity! They’re all nothing more than momentary monarchs— soon to disappear like a dream when one awakes. When the rooster crows, Lord God, you’ll despise their life of fantasies. Those who abandon the worship of God will perish. The false and unfaithful will be silenced, never heard from again.”
Psalms 73:18-20, 27 TPT
Change is coming for exposure, for difficulty, for disruption and displacement. Change is coming that throws the wicked off-balance and catches them off-guard. I Am coming to disrupt the wicked, and the tables will turn so mightily on them. They they will be baffled, confused and afraid. They will turn on each other, and self-preservation will rule their day. They will be like cockroaches scattering when the lights come on. The road for the wicked is about to get very hard.
How to Respond
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Stir up trouble for the wicked as You have said. Send Your angels out on assignment to disrupt, destroy and expose evil. Thank You for sending change to the wicked that they cannot control or manipulate. Bring justice Lord. Thank You.
- Declare, change, disruption, exposure and destruction is coming to the plans, systems and communications of the wicked.
- Decree, the Lord will disrupt the disruptors and destroy the destroyers. The time of the road being easy for the the wicked is done. The time of the communication and change being dictated by the wicked is done. Change is here for the wicked, and their road will become very difficult. Destruction is in their path.
