Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 59-60
14 Justice is turned back,
Isaiah 59:14-16
And righteousness stands far away;
For truth has stumbled in the street,
And uprightness cannot enter.
15 Yes, truth is lacking;
And he who turns aside from evil makes himself a prey.
Now the Lord saw,
And it was displeasing in His sight that there was no justice.
16 And He saw that there was no man,
And was astonished that there was no one to intercede;
Then His own arm brought salvation to Him,
And His righteousness upheld Him.
The Spirit of the Lord says,
Nothing is too dark for Me. No place is too dark, no situation too desperate for Me. I Am the God of resurrection. I Am the God of the impossible. In Me hope is here for the taking. My love is stronger than the grave.
Keep hope alive. Keep your eyes fixed on me. Though the world may be shaking, I never fail, I never lie, I never leave and I never lose. I Am mighty to save, and save I will. I will raise many hearts from the grave. I will wake the walking dead. These are days to see My resurrection power in action. These are days of visible, undeniable, instantaneous transformation. Sudden transformations will be like the strike of a match, igniting the belief of many, inviting the transformation of many.
20 “A Redeemer will come to Zion,
Isaiah 59:20-21
And to those who turn from transgression in Jacob,” declares the Lord.
21 “As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the Lord: “My Spirit which is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring’s offspring,” says the Lord, “from now and forever.”
A single transformation will light the torch like a relay race of transformation, where one after the next after the next will be lit, changed and run forward to light the next transformation. Many hearts will be ignited. Many lives will be resurrected from the grave. I Am here for wholesale change. I Am not here for partial change, for lukewarm change, for so-so change or for imperceptible change. These are days of big drama and big change. The change I Am here to accomplish, to ignite, to perform and to complete will be massive, undeniable and dramatic.
I’m turning the world right side up, or upside down, depending on your perspective. The people of my generation said that the disciples turned the world upside down. We know they were busy turning things right side up. By the world’s standards, Mine is an upside down Kingdom. It’s all about perspective. It’s all about orientation. As the change happens in you, as your life is flipped into the position of original design and original intent, you see the whole world differently.
60 “Arise, shine; for your light has come,
Isaiah 60:1-3
And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
2 “For behold, darkness will cover the earth
And deep darkness the peoples;
But the Lord will rise upon you
And His glory will appear upon you.
3 “Nations will come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising.
To the world, Mine is an upside down Kingdom. The first must be the last. The least will be the greatest. None of it makes sense in the paradigm of the fallen. but for those whose hearts and lives and very beings have been changed, touched and completely reordered, what is upside down to the world is the only way. What is upside down to the world is right side up in the Kingdom.
We have reached a time where what the world says is good is evil and what the world says is evil is good. It’s almost a perfect mirror image of truth. It’s almost a total mirror image of Kingdom. Theirs is decaying and full of death, but Mine is life and life more abundant. Run to what is true. Lean in to this upside down reality of true Kingdom. Take pride and joy in being the embodiment of everything the world calls upside down. I’m coming for them too. I’m mighty to save.
How to Respond
- Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. He will orient your life with Kingdom perspective.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Light a match in my family, my community, my nation. Let us see and experience Your resurrection power, Your transformative power in the lives of our family members, friends, neighbors and leaders. Come and turn the world upside down for Your Name and Your Kingdom’s sake.
- Declare, this is a time of great shaking and change. This is a time where the Lord is coming in power to transform the hearts and lives and paradigms of many. The world will never be the same.
- Decree, I will keep my eyes fixed on Jesus. I will live in agreement and alignment with the Kingdom of God, though it looks upside down to the world. I will partner with the Lord as He calls me to help turn the world as we know it upside down for Him.
