Isaiah 61
67 Then Zechariah was filled to overflowing with the Holy Spirit and he prophesied, saying:
Luke 1:67-75
68 “Praise be to the exalted Lord God of Israel,
for he has seen us through eyes of grace,
and he comes as our Hero-God to set us free!
69 He appears to us as a mighty Savior,
a trumpet of redemption from the house of David, his servant,
70 just as he promised long ago
by the words of his holy prophets.
71 They prophesied he would come one day and save us
from every one of our enemies
and from the power of those who hate us.
72 Now he has shown us the mercy promised to our ancestors,
for he has remembered his holy covenant.
73–75 He has rescued us from the power of our enemies,
fulfilling the sacred oath he made with our father Abraham.
Now we can boldly worship God with holy lives,
living in purity as priests in his presence every day!
Jesus is Emmanuel, God with us – God with you. Today marks the commemoration of His arrival to Earth wrapped in flesh — in the human body of a baby. He came to the Earth willingly to live among men, to be an example for all. He came to sacrifice, to be mocked and to become the once and for all sacrifice — the sinless, spotless lamb to take away the sins of the world. Live in that grace. Live from humility and a great recognition of the graciousness of the Lord to make a rescue plan for you from before the foundations of the world. He is Emmanuel, God with us, Prince of Peace, Mighty God, Holy One.
78 The splendor-light of heaven’s glorious sunrise
Luke 1:78-79
is about to break upon us in holy visitation,
all because the merciful heart of our God is so very tender.
79 The word from heaven will come to us
with dazzling light to shine upon those
who live in darkness, near death’s dark shadow.
And he will illuminate the path that leads to the way of peace.”
The Lord says, today marks another day of My graciousness and My favor. Today I have broken the chains of bondage, affliction and oppression. I have weighed you on the scales and found that the time of oppression and affliction is done. Now is the time for great impartations, for the establishment of blessings and judgement. Resurrection day has come.
This is My Christmas gift to you. You will once again say, “God is with us. He is for us. He has fought for us, and He has prevailed. He is the Victorious One. He is the Ruler of All, Creator God and King. Come let us worship and bow down. Come let us sing before the Lord our God, our Maker. Truly the Lord has blessed us and saved us this day. This resurrection day, this Christmas Day. He is holy, He is worthy.” The people will bow in great humility and reverence and they will look up in awe and wonder at the works My hands have made.
The mighty Spirit of Lord Yahweh is wrapped around me
Isaiah 61:1-3
because Yahweh has anointed me,
as a messenger to preach good news to the poor.
He sent me to heal the wounds of the brokenhearted,
to tell captives, “You are free,”
and to tell prisoners, “Be free from your darkness.”
2 I am sent to announce a new season of Yahweh’s grace
and a time of God’s recompense on his enemies,
to comfort all who are in sorrow,
3 to strengthen those crushed by despair who mourn in Zion—
to give them a beautiful bouquet in the place of ashes,
the oil of bliss instead of tears,
and the mantle of joyous praise
instead of the spirit of heaviness.
Because of this, they will be known as
Mighty Oaks of Righteousness,
planted by Yahweh as a living display of his glory.
Worship. Rejoice. Be of good cheer. Celebrate Jesus, and prepare your heart for more celebrations. Prepare your heart for unending worship and thanksgiving. Prepare your heart to be overwhelmed with gladness, with the exuberance of victory.
Celebrate Jesus. Worship Jesus. Commemorate His coming to Earth to rescue you and cancel all your sins. This is an earth-shattering miracle. I Am the God of miracles. He is My greatest miracle. But I have many many miracles yet in store. They are leaving My storehouses now, and dropping to Earth like children might imagine Christmas presents dropping from Santa’s sleigh. My packages are from Heaven. They are surprises, answers to prayers, keys to breakthrough, long awaited miracles, promises being delivered. I have opened My storehouses, and I Am generously pouring out surprises and gifts from Heaven.
Be prepared to see miracles, to receive miracles in your hands. Today marks the start of a great release of miracle gifts from My storehouses. They will cause such joy and celebration to burst forth from the hearts of those who receive them. Look up! Be in awe and wonder. Expect to see My miracles, My gifts, My blessings rain down on you as many gifts from Heaven.
7 Because you received a double dose
Isaiah 61:7-8
of shame and dishonor,
you will inherit a double portion
of endless joy and everlasting bliss!
8 “For I, Yahweh, love fairness and justice,
and I hate stealing and sin.
I will rightly repay them because of my faithfulness
and enter into an everlasting covenant with them.
Come, worship and bow down. Keep your heart in a posture of humility, thanksgiving and worship. This is the appropriate mode to be in today. Be prepared to look up in awe and wonder. Be prepared for the arrival of My gifts from Heaven. Today marks a very special day to commemorate Jesus’s arrival on Earth and for a new breakthrough I Am bringing to the world for this generation.
How to Respond
- Come to the feet of Jesus, worship and bow down.
- Be filled with gratitude for the gift of Jesus, God’s greatest miracle.
- Declare that the Lord is breaking through, and He has declared the end of oppression, bondage and affliction.
- Declare that the Lord is issuing impartations, establishing blessings and judgement for the good of the world.
- Live in an attitude of humility and celebration of Jesus today.
