Psalm 45
Isaiah 60-62
45 My heart is on fire, boiling over with passion.
Psalm 45:1
Bubbling up within me are these beautiful lyrics
as a lovely poem to be sung for the King.
Like a river bursting its banks, I’m overflowing with words,
spilling out into this sacred story.
The Lord says,
I Am causing great affection and passion for My Name to bubble forth from the hearts of My lovers. This is the effervescence and overflow of pure hearts. This is from time in the secret place, in the quiet place, in the hidden place. These hidden ones I Am calling out into the squares, into the public places — the institutions, the pulpits, the platforms, the arena of commerce and even to the schools. I Am calling these hidden ones forth and bringing them into the daylight, into the public eye, onto the platforms and into places of authority in the mountains of influence. I Am calling them out, and I am calling them up. I Am putting words in their hearts and mouths. And I Am filling them with My power from on high.
62 For Zion’s sake, how can I keep silent?
Isaiah 62:1-4
For Jerusalem’s sake, how can I remain quiet?
I will keep interceding until her righteousness
breaks forth like the blazing light of dawn
and her salvation like a burning torch!
2 Nations will see your victory-vindication,
and every king will witness your blinding radiance!
You will be called by a brand-new name,
given to you from the mouth of Yahweh himself.
3 You will be a beautiful crown held high in the hand of Yahweh,
a royal crown of splendor
held in the open palm of your God!
4 You will never again be called the Abandoned One,
nor will your land be called Deserted.
But you will be called My Delight Is in You,
and your land My Beloved Wife,
for Yahweh finds his delight in you
and he married your land.
These once hidden ones will be like mighty shepherds. They will be like scepters in My Hand. They will speak and the truth will go forth. They will speak and the truth will be amplified for all to hear. They will speak and hearts will come alive with conviction, with passion and in repentance, in worship, in celebration and in praise. Thanksgiving will be a result of these hidden ones rising and speaking forth. Power will be seen. Mighty declarations will be made. And as they strike the ground with their staffs, transformation will take place. Change will take place.
These are fierce and mighty ones like My prophets of old — like Moses and Aaron, like Caleb and Joshua, Like Elijah and Elisha, like Amos and Obadiah. These are fearless ones. These I have filled with My power in the secret place. These live far far above the fear of man. They are ones like John the Baptist who are making a way in the desert, who are calling out truth and calling sin sin.
6 Jerusalem, I have stationed intercessors on your walls
Isaiah 62:6-7
who will never be silent, day or night.
You “reminders” of Yahweh, take no rest,
7 and tirelessly give God no rest,
until he firmly establishes Jerusalem
and makes her the praise of all the earth!
I have raised them up for such a time as this, for such a time as the world has never known. I have raised them up for greatness, for I have planted the desire for greatness in the hearts of all men, women and children. These fierce ones desire greatness for My Name’s sake, for My Kingdom. They desire to conduct themselves with excellence and to strike forth change on the earth.
6 But you will be known as Priests of Yahweh,
Isaiah 61:6-9
and called Servants of our God.
You will feast on the wealth of nations
and revel in their riches!
7 Because you received a double dose
of shame and dishonor,
you will inherit a double portion
of endless joy and everlasting bliss!
8 “For I, Yahweh, love fairness and justice,
and I hate stealing and sin.
I will rightly repay them because of my faithfulness
and enter into an everlasting covenant with them.
9 Their seed will be famous among the nations,
and their descendants the center of attention of the people.
All who see them will recognize
that they are the seed that Yahweh has blessed with favor!”
Passion is bursting forth from the hearts of these hidden ones. They will be hidden no longer, though they will continue to prioritize retreating with Me. They will be public facing voices crying through the chaos, making sense amidst the noise, and singlehandedly shutting the roaring mouths of lying lions.
They are silencing the lies and the deception and speaking forth truth into the highways and byways, into the barren wilderness where truth has not lived for some time. The truth that they speak will cause life. It will cause blossoms to sprout forth in the deserts. It will cause great rivers to be established in barren places. And it will cause praise to pour forth from many hearts. These hidden ones are taking My Word as the sword in their hand, and they are warring and winning. They are shutting down centers of deception and filth. And they are destroying strongholds that have held the people captive.
10 Pass through, pass through the gates,
Isaiah 62:10-12
and go from old to new.
Prepare a new path for the people.
Build! Build up a highway for them to come to me!
Remove every hindrance
and unfurl a banner for the nations!
11 See? Yahweh has proclaimed to the ends of the earth:
Tell my daughter, Zion,
“Look, here comes your Deliverer!
See? He’s bringing his reward,
and his recompense goes before him.”
12 They will be called His Holy People,
The Redeemed of Yahweh.
And you will be known as Those Whom God Loves,
A City Not Abandoned.
Look and listen for My hidden ones coming forth. Many new ones will be emerging onto the scene. You will say, “who is this voice of reason? Who are these fierce truth tellers? Where did they come from?” You will be filled with gratitude for these raised up ones.
This is a time that calls for great purity of heart, humility and quick obedience. I Am calling many out from their hidden places, and the scene will burst with capable, undeterred ones. Like bulldogs, like lions, like mama bears, they will burst onto the scene with the power and presence of wild beasts, and they will not be tamed. These are My sheep who know My voice and do not harken to the voice of another. Watch for them. Support them. Promote them. Surround them with love and honor. They are warring as I have commanded, and they are warring for you.
Be counted among them. Be of them, with them, for them. Be on the side of the victorious ones, the ones I Am causing to march forth in victory formation even now.
14 The descendants of your oppressors
Isaiah 60:14-16
will come bowing low before you,
and all who hated you will bow down at your feet.
They will call you The Beautiful City of Yahweh,
Glorious Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
15 “Although once you were rejected and despised,
undesirable for anyone to pass through you,
I will make you majestic forever,
a source of joy for every generation.
16 You will guzzle the milk of nations
and suckle at the breast of kings.
You will know me intimately
that I am Yahweh, your Savior,
for I am the Mighty Hero who rules over Jacob’s tribes,
your Kinsman-Redeemer!
This is a return of My warriors. There has been a dearth of warriors on the battlefield, but now I Am flooding the field with them. They will overtake and overcome. They will be known as the champions, the victorious ones, the fighters, the winners, the lovers of the Most High God, and enemies will bow in defeat and submission.
These are My mighty kings of glory, the sons and daughters of royalty that I call My own. Satan will not triumph. His plan has been defeated, and all of his armies and commanders will bow low before the sons and daughters of the Most High King.
How to Respond
- Take extra time with the Lord, and listen as He speaks to you.
- Is He calling you out to take a step of faith? To support or encourage someone? To lend finances to Kingdom causes? Say yes, and don’t delay your obedience.
- Trust the leading of the Lord.
- Bless the Lord for raising up and calling out fierce warriors who are speaking truth and tearing down the strongholds that deception has built.
- Declare that the Lord is victorious and those on His side will not be put to shame.
- Declare that the Lord is triumphing over the plans of darkness, and darkness will bow to Him and those with Him.
