Stop dwelling on the past. Don’t even remember these former things. I am doing something brand new, something unheard of. Even now it sprouts and grows and matures. Don’t you perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and open up flowing streams in the desert.
Isaiah 43:18-19 TPT
The Spirit of the Living God of Peace says,
The separation was necessary for building. The separation was required for growth. Don’t hold on so tightly to the way things have been. We have entered a next phase of building, and new materials are required. New postures are required. New structures are required. And you will see springtime on both sides of the what feels like a separation. You will see flourishing, growth and fruitfulness. Where you were building feverishly and relentlessly in this past season, you have entered a season of rest. Your life will have less strain and more room for the new, more room for Me, more room for other beautiful works that I Am calling you to do.
Now, listen to me, my servant Jacob, Israel, my chosen one. I am Yahweh, your Creator, who shaped you in my womb. Hear what I have to say to you: ‘Don’t fear. I will help you, O Jacob my servant, Do not fear, my pleasing one, Israel. I will pour refreshing water on the thirsty and streams on the dry ground. I will pour out my Spirit on your children, my blessing upon your descendants. They will spring up like grass blanketing a meadow, like poplars growing by gushing streams.
Isaiah 44:1-4 TPT
The quiet, the rest, the space, the calm will be disorienting. Do not give in to the temptation to fill every moment. Do not give in to the temptation to go back to business as usual. The season has changed. The cadence has changed. Even the metrics for success have changed. Rest in Me. Remain in Me. Make Me your central focus, and I will guide the works of your hands to fruitfulness. I will bring fruitfulness to places you have not even put in much effort yet. I will show you where I want you to spend your time by prospering things. What you see Me prosper will be where you need to spend your time, focus and energy. But this is a season to do it from a place of rest, from a place of deep abiding with Me. As the chaos swirls, and time accelerates, the temptation will be to go faster and do more. But I Am calling you to slow down, abide with Me, get your priorities from Me and move forward with My joy as your strength, with My Word as your weapon.
The one I love calls to me: Arise, my dearest. Hurry, my darling. Come away with me! I have come as you have asked to draw you to my heart and lead you out. For now is the time, my beautiful one. The season has changed, the bondage of your barren winter has ended, and the season of hiding is over and gone. The rains have soaked the earth and left it bright with blossoming flowers. The season for singing and pruning the vines has arrived. I hear the cooing of doves in our land, filling the air with songs to awaken you and guide you forth. Can you not discern this new day of destiny breaking forth around you? The early signs of my purposes and plans are bursting forth. The budding vines of new life are now blooming everywhere. The fragrance of their flowers whispers, “There is change in the air.” Arise, my love, my beautiful companion, and run with me to the higher place. For now is the time to arise and come away with me.
Song of Songs 2:10-13 TPT
I Am bringing you through this storm protected. I Am teaching you to respond and reflect a new rhythm, a new cadence — to shift with the move of My Spirit, to shift focus, priorities and energy. The places I prosper unexpectedly are the areas you will need to focus. Don’t spend your energy on places I Am not prospering. They may be for another time. The season has shifted. It has changed. Allow your focus and your heart, allow your work, and the way you prioritize your day to align with this new season, this new rhythm and the work that I bless each day.
How to Respond
- Ask the Lord to help you recalibrate your tempo and adjust the places of your focus, so you can get in alignment with the flow of the Spirit in this new season.
- Pray, Holy Spirit guide me. Show me where to focus, what to do and what to step back from doing. Help me to arrange my day in a way that makes room for the new things that You are doing.
- Declare, the Lord makes all things new, and He makes all things beautiful in their time.
- Decree, I will change with the prompting of the Lord and His change of season and cadence. I will not hold on tightly to the way things have been. I will release them to the Lord for rearranging. I will create space in my life for the Lord to bring new assignments and new people. I will carve out more time to be in His Presence, soaking in His glory. He will bless the work of my hands as I respond to the impulses of His Spirit.
