Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 52
52 Awake, awake,
Isaiah 52:1-3
Clothe yourself in your strength, O Zion;
Clothe yourself in your beautiful garments,
O Jerusalem, the holy city;
For the uncircumcised and the unclean
Will no longer come into you.
2 Shake yourself from the dust, rise up,
O captive Jerusalem;
Loose yourself from the chains around your neck,
O captive daughter of Zion.
3 For thus says the Lord, “You were sold for nothing and you will be redeemed without money.”
The Spirit of the Lord says,
The drumbeat of My salvation is here. Untold millions will come to Me. Untold millions will fall at My feet in worship, in awe, in repentance, overcome by pure love. The drumbeat of salvation is here. My Great War cry has gone out, and the predators and trespassing ones have been put on notice. A mighty powerful roar has gone out from Me, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, and the whole Earth will shake in response. I Am beckoning My little children come. I Am gathering up My lost sheep from far and wide. I am a rescuing the shackled and imprisoned. I Am rescuing the abused and neglected. I Am scooping them up and drawing them near to My heart.
6 Therefore My people shall know My name; therefore in that day I am the one who is speaking, ‘Here I am.’”
Isaiah 52:6-7
7 How lovely on the mountains
Are the feet of him who brings good news,
Who announces peace
And brings good news of happiness,
Who announces salvation,
And says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”
All are welcome. All are welcome. The price of entry is to come like a little child and receive. Humble yourself and receive. Repent. Turn from your former ways and receive. Choose the gift of life. Choose the gift of adoption whereby you can cry, and I will answer to your cry of Abba, Father. The abandoned will be abandoned no longer. I Am reclaiming territory. I Am reclaiming what the enemy has stolen. I Am reclaiming vast, vast, vast swaths of land for My purposes to be established and reestablished in My Kingdom. You have heard of the Commonwealth of England. Well, now you will see and experience and live under the reign of the Commonwealth of the Lord God Most High. This is My Kingdom. This is My people, and I Am taking them back.
8 Listen! Your watchmen lift up their voices,
Isaiah 52:8-10
They shout joyfully together;
For they will see with their own eyes
When the Lord restores Zion.
9 Break forth, shout joyfully together,
You waste places of Jerusalem;
For the Lord has comforted His people,
He has redeemed Jerusalem.
10 The Lord has bared His holy arm
In the sight of all the nations,
That all the ends of the earth may see
The salvation of our God.
This is about restoration and reclamation. My mighty roar will go out, and the trespassers and the predators will be frozen in fear. I will vanquish them from the land, and you will experience a mighty cleansing and a sparkling new city. Hearts will cry “Zion, our God reigns! Our home is Zion. And our God reigns!”
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord, we have longed and prayed for You to restore the Earth and reclaim the people. Thank You that Your rescue mission is in progress. Thank You that You desire for none to perish but for all to experience eternal life and the gift of salvation through Christ Jesus. Thank You that we get to see and witness Your mighty move. We are in awe of You Lord.
- Declare, the drumbeat of the Lord’s salvation is here. The roar of the Lord will shake the whole Earth.
- Decree, I will see and experience the greatest move of God the world has ever known. I will see the world transformed by the power and love and justice of our God. Our God reigns.
