Isaiah 52
Psalm 107
14 He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death
Psalm 107:14-16
And broke their bands apart.
15 Let them give thanks to the Lord for His lovingkindness,
And for His wonders to the sons of men!
16 For He has shattered gates of bronze
And cut bars of iron asunder.
The Lord says,
No weapon formed against you shall prosper. I will lead you in safety and to success. I will lead you to victory. Keep pursuing Me. Keep prioritizing Me. Keep desiring the things of Me, of My heart, My Kingdom, My ways. I will lay bare, expose and cut down before your eyes every weapon that has been used against you. Everyone who has wielded a weapon against you, against the people will be immobilized and laid bare. Those weapons of warfare will be exposed and dismantled before your eyes.
35 He changes a wilderness into a pool of water
Psalm 107:35-38
And a dry land into springs of water;
36 And there He makes the hungry to dwell,
So that they may establish an inhabited city,
37 And sow fields and plant vineyards,
And gather a fruitful harvest.
38 Also He blesses them and they multiply greatly,
And He does not let their cattle decrease.
My love will flood the land. My love will come into the dry places, the weary places, the parched and broken places. It will transform this place that had been a bitter and barren battlefield into a blooming palace garden. As these weapons are laid bare and dismantled, they will be put on display as exhibits for all to see. Those weapons are rendered useless, powerless and will be put in museums of remembrance. The people will not want to forget these weapons that were once wielded mercilessly against them. They will not want to forget what they looked like, sounded like or felt like. But this museum to the weapons of warfare from the battle in this present age will not diminish or take away from the glorious, vibrant, thrumming, life-filled garden that has grown up in place of the battlefield.
It will be like the museum is one entrance to the garden. The museum tells the story of the weapons and the war, and it leads you into the stunning and glorious new reality of transformation, freedom, hope, love and justice.
4 They wandered in the wilderness in a desert region;
Psalm 107:4-7
They did not find a way to an inhabited city.
5 They were hungry and thirsty;
Their soul fainted within them.
6 Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble;
He delivered them out of their distresses.
7 He led them also by a straight way,
To go to an inhabited city.
The other entrance to this beautiful garden is through extreme personal transformation. It is through a total and uncompromising submission to change in Me. That is the other entrance to this glorious new protected place of life, love, joy, beauty, safety and freedom. That is the other entrance to this fortified city, this glorious habitation, this palace garden — a place of celebration, honor and ease.
52 Awake, awake,
Isaiah 52:1-3
Clothe yourself in your strength, O Zion;
Clothe yourself in your beautiful garments,
O Jerusalem, the holy city;
For the uncircumcised and the unclean
Will no longer come into you.
2 Shake yourself from the dust, rise up,
O captive Jerusalem;
Loose yourself from the chains around your neck,
O captive daughter of Zion.
3 For thus says the Lord, “You were sold for nothing and you will be redeemed without money.”
As I Am exposing, laying bare and dismantling weapons of warfare on My way to rendering all of them powerless against you, you can open up to Me and to the work on yourself that gets you to this glorious place of freedom, beauty and life. Choose to open the door to total submission, to giving Me absolute unfettered access to knock down walls, tear out existing belief structures, habits, triggers, all of it. Invite Me in to do a total renovation on your heart, life and mind. And watch how I build all of the things that exist in that glorious fortified city of vibrant thriving life inside of you. I will build the city, the palace garden city, inside you. I will build the freedom and the life inside you, and I will give you access to more. I will build a door that gives you access to more and that makes it an accessible external reality as well.
9 Break forth, shout joyfully together,
Isaiah 52:9-10
You waste places of Jerusalem;
For the Lord has comforted His people,
He has redeemed Jerusalem.
10 The Lord has bared His holy arm
In the sight of all the nations,
That all the ends of the earth may see
The salvation of our God.
See, there are two entrances to this beautiful fortified city, this garden palace. For those who choose to go there through the museum of the weapons of warfare, the access they have is only to the external reality, to the external place of freedom, love grace, beauty, justice and honor. But for those who choose to invite Me to renovate their whole being, their whole life, their everything — they will become the garden, the fortified city of grace and freedom, joy and beauty themselves. They will become living cities of glory and they will have access to this as an external reality as well. This is what it means for My Kingdom to Come on Earth as it is in Heaven. My Kingdom can come and be established inside of you, and it is coming to the world around you.
8 Let them give thanks to the Lord for His lovingkindness,
Psalm 107:8-9
And for His wonders to the sons of men!
9 For He has satisfied the thirsty soul,
And the hungry soul He has filled with what is good.
Choose the most glorious way. Choose maximum transformation, total transformation, unbroken communion with Me. Choose to be ones whose inside reality is so gloriously transformed that it changes the world around them. I will cause your external reality to become as glorious as the internal transformation you invite Me to do. That is the choice before you today. Do you want to be only a witness to the external reality change or do you want to be completely transformed and have your external reality transformed to match your internal transformation? Do you want to be a witness or a participant? Only a museum patron and a welcomed guest? Or a resident and proprietor? This is the choice before you. Choose the change. Choose the renovation. Choose the transformation, and watch as your life becomes something entirely different, beautiful, glorious and true.
How to Respond
- Submit your heart and your life to the Lord completely. Invite Him to come in with unfettered access to every part of you and bring the healing, the life, the change that will cause His Kingdom to be formed inside of you.
- Declare, no weapon formed against me shall prosper. The Lord is laying bare and dismantling the weapons that the enemy has been wielding against me and against all the people. They will be exposed and rendered powerless.
- Decree, I am accepting the Lord’s invitation to do total and complete submission and transformation of my life. I am one who desires total transformation, unbroken communion with the Lord and the reality of the Kingdom being built, blossoming and living inside of me.
