Today’s Reading:
Proverbs 21
Genesis 1
Hebrews 10
Proverbs 28

“Guilty criminals experience paranoia even though no one threatens them. But the innocent lovers of God, because of righteousness, will have the boldness of a young, ferocious lion!”

Proverbs‬ ‭28:1‬ ‭TPT‬‬

The Spirit of the Lord says,
Your voice matters. I want you to be as bold as a lion. I want you to stir up your predatory self, the one who is territorial, and the one who will not let an enemy, a threat or a liar step foot into your zone — one who is protective of their cubs and all the cubs in the pride. Stand up and growl. Issue low rumbling warnings, and roar when necessary. I Am calling you to roar. I Am calling you to be a weighty and formidable presence. I Am calling you to mark out territory and not cede one inch. This is war.

“But we are certainly not those who are held back by fear and perish; we are among those who have faith and experience true life!”

Hebrews‬ ‭10:39‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Behave as a lion. Stand your guard. Stand your ground. When necessary, go on the attack. Chase the hyena and the bear. Do not be put upon, encroached upon or restricted. I made you for freedom and for dominion. The lion is the king of the jungle, king of the plains. Rise up in your kingly authority. Rise up in your priestly authority. And occupy.

“A warrior filled with wisdom ascends into the high place and releases breakthrough, bringing down the strongholds of the mighty. Watch your words and be careful what you say, and you’ll be surprised by how few troubles you’ll have.”

Proverbs‬ ‭21:22-23‬ ‭TPT‬‬

The truth will set you free. Live in truth, and you will be free. You will live in freedom. Your voice matters. Your words carry the power and authority of Heaven. Use them wisely. In your tongue is the power of life and death. Wield your weapon wisely. Make sure your aim is true. Rise up in your authority, and don’t wait for another to do what I have called you to do. Get up, stand up. Rise up. You have the high ground. You are in the high position. You have the upper hand. So fight. It’s time to go on offense. It’s time to pursue, defeat and occupy till He comes. This is not a short-term assignment. This is not a short lived occupation.

26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
27
So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

Genesis 1:26-28

This occupation must flip over and become dominion. It must become territory that is returned to the rule of the Lord through the hands and occupation of His people, His army, His lovers, His fierce ones. Your mandate is clear — occupy until He comes. Rule until He comes. Take dominion. Fill the earth and subdue it. Let it be settled business. This is your role.

How to Respond

  • Rise up in your kingly authority, and determine to use your voice for truth — for all that is honorable, right, holy and sacred. Refuse to back down in the face of the enemy, in the face of mocking, slander and attacks. Refuse to cede any territory. You have the high ground.
  • Pray, Lord, fill me with Your wisdom, boldness and courage to go out and be a voice for truth.
  • Declare, the Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof.
  • Decree, I will not be shaken, moved or intimated by false rulers and authorities, demons or principalities. I will stand for truth, and I will roar.
