Today’s Reading:
Jeremiah 12
1 Samuel 30

14 Thus says the Lord concerning all My wicked neighbors who strike at the inheritance with which I have endowed My people Israel, “Behold I am about to uproot them from their land and will uproot the house of Judah from among them. 15 And it will come about that after I have uprooted them, I will again have compassion on them; and I will bring them back, each one to his inheritance and each one to his land. 16 Then if they will really learn the ways of My people, to swear by My name, ‘As the Lord lives,’ even as they taught My people to swear by Baal, they will be built up in the midst of My people. 17 But if they will not listen, then I will uproot that nation, uproot and destroy it,” declares the Lord.

Jeremiah 12:14-17

The Spirit of the Lord says,
This is war in the Spirit. We are coming against invading powers. They have invaded our territory, and this means war. They have captured our children, and led our people astray. They have taught them to bow down to false idols and to worship other gods. They have exalted the sacrifice of babies, and raised the mothers’ actions up as dignified, justified and right. This is war.

Can you see we are in the midst of a war of cultures? Of spirits? Against truth? Against family? Against Me? This is war. Man your battle stations. Get into position, and take out the invaders. Take out the encroachers. Take out the false friends and the Trojan horses.

10 “Many shepherds have ruined My vineyard,
They have trampled down My field;
They have made My pleasant field
A desolate wilderness.

Jeremiah 12:10

This is war. The invasion has happened. You are living in the midst of the invasion. Wake up!! It’s time to rout the enemy. It’s time to clear out and reclaim the territory and all that was lost and stolen. Rise up in your kingly authority. Rise up in your priestly authority. Rise up. Wake up! This is war!! Your gardens have been trampled, and they have invaded your home. What more proof do you need before you take action? We are at war. This is a war that is being waged against you, your existence, your rights, your freedoms, your family and your future. Wake up! Rise up! And man your battle stations.

30 Then it happened when David and his men came to Ziklag on the third day, that the Amalekites had made a raid on the Negev and on Ziklag, and had overthrown Ziklag and burned it with fire; 2 and they took captive the women and all who were in it, both small and great, without killing anyone, and carried them off and went their way. 3 When David and his men came to the city, behold, it was burned with fire, and their wives and their sons and their daughters had been taken captive. 4 Then David and the people who were with him lifted their voices and wept until there was no strength in them to weep.

17
David slaughtered them from the twilight until the evening of the next day; and not a man of them escaped, except four hundred young men who rode on camels and fled. 18 So David recovered all that the Amalekites had taken, and rescued his two wives. 19 But nothing of theirs was missing, whether small or great, sons or daughters, spoil or anything that they had taken for themselves; David brought it all back.

1 Samuel 30:1-4, 17-19

We are at war, so behave as a warrior. This is a time to recover all that was lost and stolen. It’s time to advance against the enemy and not lay down in defeat. This is war. Rise up in righteous anger. Rise up with holy hands. Rise up as warriors of the Most High King. Rise up, and take back all that has been lost land stolen. Take it back!

How to Respond

  • Draw on the presence of the Lord. Ask Him for boldness, wisdom and courage to find your place in this great spiritual and cultural war.
  • Ask the Lord for spiritual insight and divine strategy for the battles that are waging in your home and those close to your home.
  • Declare, we are at war, and the Lord of All never fails, never lies and never loses.
  • Decree, victory belongs to the Lord. As I partner with the Lord and take action as He directs, He will uproot the wicked from the land and restore to me my inheritance!
