Today’s Reading:
Hebrews 3
Hebrews 4

Indeed, Moses served God faithfully in all he gave him to do. His work prophetically illustrates things that would later be spoken and fulfilled. But Christ is more than a Servant, he was faithful as the Son in charge of God’s house. And now we are part of his house if we continue courageously to hold firmly to our bold confidence and our victorious hope.

Hebrews‬ ‭3‬:‭15-‭6‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Epic transitions. We are in the time of epic transitions. Nothing will remain the same. Nothing will look the same. Nothing will operate the same. Buckle up. We are hurtling headlong into this time of epic transitions. What you knew will be no more. It will be in a past that cannot be reached back into. Epic transitions are here, and it will seem like you are in a boat riding out very choppy waters. You will have very little control, but the vessel is secure. If you are in Me, the vessel is secure, solid and seaworthy. We will be riding out some very choppy days.

Now the promise of entering into God’s rest is still for us today. So we must be extremely careful to ensure that we all embrace the fullness of that promise and not fail to experience it. For we have heard the good news of deliverance just as they did, yet they didn’t join their faith with the Word. Instead, what they heard didn’t affect them deeply, for they doubted. For those of us who believe, faith activates the promise and we experience the realm of confident rest!

Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭1‬-‭3a‬ ‭TPT‬‬

The storm that we are riding out will provide little to no visibility. But I Am with you, and I surround you with My incredible canopy of grace and peace. You have everything you need to ride out this storm. Just know that it will be choppy, and it will feel severe at times. Yet I Am with you. Instead of riding out the storm on the top deck getting pelted by rain and feeling every chop of the waves, every jolt of the storm, knock on the door of My Captain’s cabin. This is the place of perfect peace. This is the place where the jolts are less severe, the chops are noticeable, but not so jarring. Come and stay with Me in here as I steer us through this storm safely, even as I navigate us through the waters of epic change.

So then, we must cling in faith to all we know to be true. For we have a magnificent King-Priest, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who rose into the heavenly realm for us, and now sympathizes with us in our frailty. He understands humanity, for as a man, our magnificent King-Priest was tempted in every way just as we are, and conquered sin. So now we draw near freely and boldly to where grace is enthroned, to receive mercy’s kiss and discover the grace we urgently need to strengthen us in our time of weakness.

Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭14‬-‭16‬ ‭TPT‬‬

This is not a time where there is only one major change to which the people must adjust. This is wholesale change. This is epic change in every aspect of life. This will cause great disorientation for those who have been asleep, because they will wake up in choppy, very harsh conditions amidst a constantly changing landscape. Have grace for them. Bring My peace to them.

A new day is dawning on the horizon. That day will clear away the fog and the storm. It will bring stillness to the waters, and it will be the entry point to a whole new world on the other side of a seemingly endless series of jarring and abrupt epic transitions. That day will come, and it is appointed. But for now, buckle up. Better yet, come into the protected and buffered place of My Captain’s cabin. I will give you rest. I will be your peace. Trust Me, and keep your eyes firmly fixed on Me.

How to Respond

  • Trust the Lord and stay close to Him. Be quickly and fully obedient to His instruction.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit thank You for Your warning that we are moving into choppy waters that will be marked by a vast series of epic transitions. Help me not to be overly concerned with the storm, the waves or the chop. Help me to keep my eyes and my heart fixed on You. You are my perfect peace.
  • Declare, the Lord my God is a tower of refuge and strength. He’s a very present help in times of trouble. He is the Lord of the times and seasons. He raises kings up and He takes others down. The winds and the waves obey Him. I will trust the Lord with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding. In all my ways, I will acknowledge Him, and He will make my paths straight.
  • Decree, we are moving into an appointed time of epic transitions that will not permit us to return to the ways of the past. I will firmly fix my eyes on Jesus. I will trust in Him completely to navigate us safely through this storm. Nothing will remain the same. Every aspect of life will be radically changed.
