Today’s Reading:
Luke 19:12-27

12 He said, “A nobleman was called away to a distant empire to be crowned king and then return. 13 Before he left, he called together ten of his servants and divided among them ten pounds of silver,[a] saying, ‘Invest this for me while I am gone.’ 14 But his people hated him and sent a delegation after him to say, ‘We do not want him to be our king.’
15
“After he was crowned king, he returned and called in the servants to whom he had given the money. He wanted to find out what their profits were.

Luke 19:12-15 NLT

The Spirit of the Lord says,
The transition is here. The transition is delivered. I have dropped it via personal delivery to your home. Change is here. New complications of blessing are here. What you’ve prayed for is here. The corporate change is here, and the personal change is here. It’s a lot of transition and a lot of change to navigate. You must not only navigate it, you must manage it well. Your answer has been delivered. You must manage it well. I have put grace on the transition, on the change, on the answer itself. But it will be yours to establish, to utilize well and to cause to thrive. This is an answer, an opportunity and a test all in one. The answer is here. The provision is here. Can you steward it well? Will you steward it well? Will you bring Holy Spirit creativity? Will you bring hard work, discipline and diligence to see this to fruition? To make it prosper?

16 The first servant reported, ‘Master, I invested your money and made ten times the original amount!’
17
“‘Well done!’ the king exclaimed. ‘You are a good servant. You have been faithful with the little I entrusted to you, so you will be governor of ten cities as your reward.’
18
“The next servant reported, ‘Master, I invested your money and made five times the original amount.’
19
“‘Well done!’ the king said. ‘You will be governor over five cities.’
20
“But the third servant brought back only the original amount of money and said, ‘Master, I hid your money and kept it safe. 21 I was afraid because you are a hard man to deal with, taking what isn’t yours and harvesting crops you didn’t plant.’
22
“‘You wicked servant!’ the king roared. ‘Your own words condemn you. If you knew that I’m a hard man who takes what isn’t mine and harvests crops I didn’t plant, 23 why didn’t you deposit my money in the bank? At least I could have gotten some interest on it.’
24
“Then, turning to the others standing nearby, the king ordered, ‘Take the money from this servant, and give it to the one who has ten pounds.’
25
“‘But, master,’ they said, ‘he already has ten pounds!’

Luke 19:16-25 NLT

This is a test of the minas. This is a test that will prepare you to lead and manage cities. This is no small test. This is no small opportunity, but you have prayed for it. The Body of Christ has prayed for it, and I have delivered it right to you. This is a test that is both highly personal and corporate. This is a transition within a transition. Change has been delivered. Manage it well. Delight in it, and seek Me for wisdom, for strategy and for the geographic setting, the property itself. I will provide the land, the place for this transition — the opportunity to establish it in great grace and in grandeur. This opportunity should serve many. This opportunity should reach many. This opportunity should bless many. It is not something that will succeed by hoarding. It will only succeed by opening it up and allowing it to be a blessing to many.

26 “‘Yes,’ the king replied, ‘and to those who use well what they are given, even more will be given. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away. 27 And as for these enemies of mine who didn’t want me to be their king—bring them in and execute them right here in front of me.’”

Luke 19:26-27 NLT

I have established this opportunity in truth. I have given this answer a firm foundation. Now all that it required is proper placement, and sound, wise stewardship. Done well, it should bless many, and it should especially bless you. This is the training ground for establishing and building cities. This is the test that determines whether that door to manage cities is opened up to you. Steward it well. Delight in the joy of this grand opportunity. The upside is great. The upside is magnificent. The upside knows no bounds.

How to Respond

  • Walk in close and quick obedience to the voice of the Lord.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit help me to see the opportunity and the responsibility You are providing as an answer to my prayer. Give me wisdom and grace to steward it well and to establish it in the place that You have designated and provided. I can’t do any of this without You Lord. I long to be the prosperous manager who has succeeded in the task the Lord has given and who advances to manage cities.
  • Declare, the answer to my prayer is here. The day of my great opportunity is here. Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised. He is the Giver of every good and perfect gift, the Father of Heavenly lights. He never fails, never loses, never lies, never leaves. He is a good, good Father. He is my eternal King.
  • Decree, I will be a faithful steward for the Lord. I will delight in the work and the opportunity that the Lord has brought directly to me. I will seek the wisdom of the Lord, and many will be blessed through the successful stewardship of this great opportunity.
