Today’s Reading:
1 Corinthians 2
”The message I preached and how I preached it was not an attempt to sway you with persuasive arguments but to prove to you the almighty power of God’s Holy Spirit. For God intended that your faith not be established on man’s wisdom but by trusting in his almighty power.“
1 Corinthians 2:4-5 TPT
The Spirit of the Living God says,
Grace is channeling toward you. My favor and My grace are being channeled toward you, very specifically. This is not general grace and favor. It is very specific, and it is directed and headed and destined to you and for you. My children know My voice. My sheep know the sound and the cadence of My voice. Don’t walk in the direction or the steps of another. What seems right to man may be good in his own eyes. But nothing compares to the wisdom and guidance, the direct instruction of the Lord. I carved out your destiny and purpose before time began. Why would you rely on man’s opinion or man’s wisdom? No one can hear My voice for you like you.
‘However, there is a wisdom that we continually speak of when we are among the spiritually mature. It’s wisdom that didn’t originate in this present age, nor did it come from the rulers of this age who are in the process of being dethroned. Instead, we continually speak of this wonderful wisdom that comes from God, hidden before now in a mystery. It is his secret plan, destined before the ages, to bring us into glory. None of the rulers of this present world order understood it, for if they had, they never would have crucified the Lord of shining glory. This is why the Scriptures say: Things never discovered or heard of before, things beyond our ability to imagine — these are the many things God has in store for all his lovers. ‘
1 Corinthians 2:6-9
I appoint some as pastors, some as prophets, others as teachers, evangelists and apostles. Sometimes I will speak to others about your destiny, your direction. But day-to-day, day-by-day, lifelong direction is direct from Me to you. Don’t trust the voice of another. You will know if it resonates. You will know if it sets off the bell of recognition in your heart and soul. My instruction grips your heart in a way that no man’s breath can touch — no matter how well meaning or how filled with love. They can’t hear My voice for you in the day-to-day. Draw near to Me, and I will draw near to you. Trust in Me, and I will guide you along the path that I have charted out for you as destiny. It’s called Destiny Road. I made it just for you. The path of your existence, the path of your life and breath, hopes and being should all play out on Destiny Road. Don’t wander from it. I Am using every moment, every connection, every conversation and every trial to bring you into a tailor-made destiny, to do work that I specifically set aside with you in mind. No one else can do it the way that you can.
‘But God now unveils these profound realities to us by the Spirit. Yes, he has revealed to us his inmost heart and deepest mysteries through the Holy Spirit, who constantly explores all things. After all, who can really see into a person’s heart and know his hidden impulses except for that person’s spirit? So it is with God. His thoughts and secrets are only fully understood by his Spirit, the Spirit of God. For we did not receive the spirit of this world system but the Spirit of God, so that we might come to understand and experience all that grace has lavished upon us. Those who live in the Spirit are able to carefully evaluate all things, and they are subject to the scrutiny of no one but God. ‘
1 Corinthians 2:10-12,15
This is destiny life. Choose to walk out your Destiny Road in perfect, unmatched, unbroken love-union with Me. I Am your God, and you are the sheep of my pasture. You are My beloved son, My beloved daughter, and I will not lead you astray. I will not take you to a dead-end road. I only lead and guide you to destiny. Put all of your hopes in Me. I will lead you the whole way.
How to Respond
- Trust the Lord and practice hearing His voice daily.
- Pray, Lord, increase my sensitivity to Your voice and leading. Help me to rely on Your voice more than any other, to trust Your voice and instruction more than that of any other. I want to put all of my hope, trust and faith in You.
- Declare, The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him. (Psalm 28:7)
- Decree, I will follow the Lord’s leading. I will not wander off or despise the path that He has for me. Instead I will find joy, take joy and delight in the tailor-made Destiny Road He has marked out for me. I will accomplish the work that He has reserved for me, and I will do it to the best of my ability.
