Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 30
2 Peter 1

“May grace and perfect peace cascade over you as you live in the rich knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.”

2 Peter‬ ‭1:2‬ ‭TPT‬‬

The Spirit of the Lord says,
You have more belief in your heart than doubt. Choices are set before you. I told you in advance this would be true. Not all of the choices are best for your heart. Not all of the choices are best for your life. Not all of the choices are a good fit for the blueprint of your life. Yet they remain. This is a season of choices. This is a time that I have spoken of months and months ago when I said that your instruction is to choose the opportunities on which My pleasure rest. This is the season to be established and walk on your own unique path. No one can tell you what’s right and wrong for you amongst these choices. Many are good. Few are great.

“Everything we could ever need for life and godliness has already been deposited in us by his divine power. For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing him who has called us by name and invited us to come to him through a glorious manifestation of his goodness. As a result of this, he has given you magnificent promises that are beyond all price, so that through the power of these tremendous promises we can experience partnership with the divine nature, by which you have escaped the corrupt desires that are of the world.”

2 Peter‬ ‭1:3-4‬ ‭TPT‬‬

This is a faith exercise of hearing My voice, seeking My face and following the pleasure of the Lord. Close your eyes. Do you feel My peace on this decision? Or does it stir up more angst? Try out the other side. Is there peace in the opposite choice? Do you feel My pleasure resting on the opposing choice? This is the way through such murky and uncertain times. This is the way through the time of such a great onslaught of decisions and opportunities that will come. It will be like wave after wave of choices, and I have equipped you to choose well. I have given you all you need for life and godliness and to choose well. Don’t get caught up in pride. Don’t get caught up in the voices and opinions of others. Hear My voice. And even if I say nothing, wait for the assurance of My pleasure on the decision. That will lead you on. That will set you on the right path and keep your feet from stumbling.

20 Although the Lord has given you bread of privation and water of oppression, He, your Teacher will no longer hide Himself, but your eyes will behold your Teacher. 21 Your ears will hear a word behind you, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or to the left.

Isaiah 30:19-20

This is a different, a more elevated level of faith and trust, because many of the decisions being set before you are not choices of right and wrong. They are choices of good and great, of a nice fit and a perfect fit. This is the narrow path. The path is narrowing now, and it is the road to holiness. You will hear a voice say, “this the way, walk in it.”

How to Respond

  • Pray, Lord, help me to learn to cut out other voices and all that is competing for my attention and tune in to the sound of Your voice, the feel of Your prompting and the recognition of Your pleasure resting on the best way forward. Help me to not get caught up in pride or what seems right in the eyes of men. Help me to follow you on the narrow path You have tailor made for me — to prosper me and to give me abundant life in You.
  • Declare, this is a time of many opportunities and decisions. The Lord is making a way for us to navigate well through them all.
  • Decree, I will pursue the pleasure of the Lord and make my decisions accordingly. I will not fear the opinion of men or seek their approval for my choices. I will tune in to the sound of the Lord’s voice and the recognition of His pleasure, and He will direct my path.
