Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 60
60 “Arise, shine; for your light has come,
Isaiah 60:1-3
And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
2 “For behold, darkness will cover the earth
And deep darkness the peoples;
But the Lord will rise upon you
And His glory will appear upon you.
3 “Nations will come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising.
The Spirit of the Lord says,
I’m taking My people from glory to glory. I’m giving large leap-like advances in a single move. You are coming into advancement. You are coming into promotion. You are taking a giant leap forward. This is not a time to stay comfortable or to be complacent. This is not a time to be satisfied. Allow me to cause a burning in your heart for more, and I will cause you to take leaps forward. This is about the Kingdom. This is about My glory. It is My glory to take you from glory to glory. It is My glory to advance you to heights and places you never imagined.
“Then you will see and be radiant,
Isaiah 60:5-7
And your heart will [b]thrill and rejoice;
Because the abundance of the sea will be turned to you,
The wealth of the nations will come to you.
6 “A multitude of camels will cover you,
The young camels of Midian and Ephah;
All those from Sheba will come;
They will bring gold and frankincense,
And will bear good news of the praises of the Lord.
7 “All the flocks of Kedar will be gathered together to you,
The rams of Nebaioth will minister to you;
They will go up with acceptance on My altar,
And I shall [c]glorify My [d]glorious house.
It’s My glory to pull you back as if in a slingshot and propel you forward with the force of a rocket. This is the kind of season of advancement we are now in. You are walking in the midst of fertile ground for advancement. You are walking in a place that may just launch you forward at any moment. Expect the unexpected, and keep your hands busy about your Father’s business. Advancement is here. Large leaps forward are here. Rocket propulsion beyond your wildest dreams is here. Get your house in order. Keep your house in order. What you learned here, you will need there. What you have treated as a discipline here will become a necessary way of life there. This has been fertile training ground. This has been a readiness zone, and I will be launching many many of My lovers forward like stones from a slingshot, like rockets from a launchpad.
12 “For the nation and the kingdom which will not serve you will perish,
Isaiah 60:12-14
And the nations will be utterly ruined.
13 “The glory of Lebanon will come to you,
The juniper, the box tree and the cypress together,
To beautify the place of My sanctuary;
And I shall make the place of My feet glorious.
14 “The sons of those who afflicted you will come bowing to you,
And all those who despised you will bow themselves at the soles of your feet;
And they will call you the city of the Lord,
The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
You may be thought of as a detonated hand grenade where you land, because I Am calling some to blow up old systems. I Am calling some to destroy the works of evil. I Am calling some to rescue the hurting, lost and broken from the hand of oppressors. Don’t mind your hand grenade moniker. Take pride in it if you are in the middle of My will. I Am not calling you to destruction and turmoil for destruction and turmoil’s sake. But if My assignment on your life is to destroy old systems and to break up evil, do it with gusto and with pleasure. Relish it as a warrior taking on a mission. Not all will be launched as hand grenades, some will be launched as builders, as establishers, as alternatives while the hand grenades dismantle the old systems. Know your hour. Know your position. Know your call. It is significant.
How to Respond
- Be busy about your Father’s business. Don’t allow complacency to creep into your life. Be quick to be obedient.
- Pray, Lord, thank You that this is a launching season. Thank You that You have held us in training ground to prepare me for the next phase of purpose and calling on my life. I want to live well — in obedience and in the discipline that You have instilled during this season. Lord, take me and launch me wherever I can be best put to work to advance Your Kingdom.
- Declare, great is the Lord and worthy of praise. He is the Lord of the times and the seasons, and He takes us from glory to glory.
- Decree, I will go from glory to glory. I am in a launching and advancement season. I will see the Lord propel me forward and place me in the next phase of the work He has equipped and trained me to do. In my obedience to His call, I will be a part of the establishment and the advancement of the Kingdom of God on Earth.
