Today’s Reading:
Matthew 19
Psalm 40
Matthew 8
And looking at them Jesus said to them, “With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Matthew 19:26 NASB1995
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
You are from the Land of the Possible. So why are you up to your eyeballs in the mud of it’s impossible? It’s not impossible. You just can’t see it, because you have waded in so deep into the mud that even your eyes are covered with mud. You can’t see. Get out of that mud. Allow Me to lift you up out of that miry clay once again. Allow Me to set your feet on the Solid Rock of Christ Jesus once again.
He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay, And He set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; Many will see and fear And will trust in the Lord.
Psalms 40:2-3 NASB1995
Up here with Me you can see clearly. Up here, up higher you can see the great wide vistas of possible and possibility. Nothing is impossible from here, because nothing is impossible with Me. Stick with Me. Stay up higher, up here. Don’t get stuck down there in the mud. You can barely move and operate in the mud, much less see what is truly possible. In the mud you can only see what is right in front of you, and it all seems so impossible because you can barely even move. You’re stuck. Allow Me to unstick you. Yield to My positioning you up here, up higher where the air is clear and the view is unobstructed in every direction. Things are very possible from here, from this vantage point, from this position with Me.
But the centurion said, “Lord, I am not worthy for You to come under my roof, but just say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I also am a man under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to this one, ‘Go!’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come!’ and he comes, and to my slave, ‘Do this!’ and he does it.”
Matthew 8:8-9, 13 NASB1995
And Jesus said to the centurion, “Go; it shall be done for you as you have believed.” And the servant was healed that very moment.
I want you to look far out, as far as you can see and still make out the objects. What do you see? Call it forth. Say come here! Call forth those most distant things. Call forth those things that you can see in your mind and imagination and even those that are so hidden in your heart that they are shut behind closed doors. Speak, and call them to come to you. This is the authority, the birthright of a king. This is the authority with which you rule and reign with Me. Call those distant things forth. Call those things forth for which you have despaired and even given up on, because you were in the mud and you could not see it as possible. Call it forth from here, the up-higher perch with Me where all things are possible. Call it forth from here. It’s time to rule as kings. It’s time to learn to reign.
How to Respond
- Yield to the Lord. Allow Him to pull you up out of the mud and position you next to Him where you can see clearly that all things are possible with Him.
- Pray, Lord I repent for allowing my limited mindset and my limited view shrink what I believe You can do. Wash me off Lord. Cleanse me from this muddy place where I have been stuck. And bring me up to that up-higher place on the Solid Rock of Jesus. I want to sit with You and see clearly that all things are possible with You.
- Declare, with God all things are possible.
- Decree, I am with God, so nothing is impossible. I will call forth that which is not as though it is. I will not return to the mud of impossibility. I will stay in this up higher place with the Lord God Almighty and learn how to rule and reign with Him.
