11 With this in mind, we constantly pray that our God will empower you to live worthy of all that he has invited you to experience. And we pray that by his power all the pleasures of goodness and all works inspired by faith would fill you completely. 12 By doing this the name of our Lord Jesus will be glorified in you, and you will be glorified in him, by the marvelous grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Thessalonians 1:11-12
Trust the Lord & Keep Going
The Lord says,
I’m your hope and strength. Lean on Me. Let Me hold you up. Let Me reveal more of Myself to you — My grace, My power, My provision, My intense kindness and extreme goodness. Let Me show you. Lean on Me. Don’t rely on just yourself. Don’t lean on your own understanding. Rest in Me. Let Me provide for you — one step and then the next. Keep moving forward. Take the time to rest that you need. But this is a period with an intense cadence of forward movement. The drumbeat has picked up, and it’s go, move, forward. As You rest in Me, as you rely on Me, as you ask Me for wisdom and all that you need, watch how I provide. Watch how I have gone one step before you and made a way where there was no path before. I Am the way. I make a way. So trust. And keep going. I know you are weary from the pace. But get into My slipstream of grace. There you will find you have all that you need to keep moving forward.
How do you do that? Read My Word. Spend time in worship and prayer. Bring Me into all of your concerns and decisions, and keep looking up. Keep looking to Me. Take your eyes off of the storm, the chaos, the confusion and look to Me. I will lead you, and you will get answers and find favor, rest and provision in My slipstream of grace. I Am going before you. Just hold My hand, and let’s keep moving. The only way not to stay here is to keep moving.
Trust. Rest. Move. The drumbeat has quickened, and we are pushing through the last moments of labor. The contractions are coming more frequently, and we must push through. Don’t give up. Push, rest, push. We’re almost there.
5 You answer our prayers with amazing wonders
Psalm 65:5
and with awe-inspiring displays of power.
You are the righteous God who helps us like a father.
Everyone everywhere looks to you,
for you are the confidence of all the earth,
even to the farthest islands of the sea.
Let the Lord Be Your Hero
The Lord says,
I Am your hero. Let me be your hero. This is a time where you could take all of the difficulties on your own shoulders, and try to trudge through. Or you can lean on Me, and admit that you can’t do it all alone. You can let Me lift the burden, and let Me be your hero. Let me be the hero of this story, of this moment, of this season for you.
The hero does the heavy lifting. Let Me be your rescuer, your champion, your Mighty Victorious King. Loosen your grip, let go of the reigns, and just walk with Me. I Am the Hero. Let me be the hero here for you. It will make your life in this period so much lighter. Watch as I lift the burdens from your shoulders and the dark clouds from your mind.
You can live in joy if you are not dragging these heavy weights around with the clouds of darkness over your head. I Am calling you and challenging you to light living in these days.
Live light. Advance in joy. Choose hope. Choose My grace. Ask for and walk in My favor. These days will go by blindingly quick if you are in My slipstream of grace. You can do this the easy way or the hard way. It’s up to you. But My hand is extended, and I say again, let Me be your hero.
3 You will be a beautiful crown held high in the hand of Yahweh,
Isaiah 62:3-4
a royal crown of splendor
held in the open palm of your God!
4 You will never again be called the Abandoned One,
nor will your land be called Deserted.
But you will be called My Delight Is in You,
and your land My Beloved Wife,
for Yahweh finds his delight in you
and he married your land.
Freedom Is at Hand
The Lord says,
I am releasing calves from their stalls. This is a springtime harvest season. I am releasing these young calves from their stalls, and they are skipping merrily in the field. This is a picture of the freedom I have in store. That is how many will feel — as if they were caged in tight, and I released the latch on the gate that held them in and now they can roam freely. They can skip and rejoice and take great delight in their newfound freedom. This is what I will do in America. This is what I will do in many nations. Freedom is at the doorstep. I Am just outside of your gate.
Sing, worship, rejoice! Your Mighty Freedom Fighter, the Warrior King, the Lord God Almighty is moving on your behalf, and freedom is at hand. Glory days are at hand. Wide open spacious living is at hand, and it will cause so much celebration. The celebration will go on for days and weeks. The air will be electric with the energy of freedom, joy and thanksgiving to the Lord your God, your Maker and Freedom Fighter your Deliverer, The Great I Am.
These days are just upon us. They are at the door. They are outside of your gate. Watch, listen, rejoice, for Your Victor is here.
How to Respond
- Ask the Lord to take you by the hand in this season.
- Ask Him to show you how to allow Him to take on your burdens and concerns.
- Tell the Lord that you will release your tight grip of control and let Him be your hero.
- Declare that the days of freedom are here.
- Declare that the Lord is moving and bringing a mighty victory of freedom to the people.
- Celebrate, worship, sing and walk in continual thanksgiving.
