Today’s Readings:
Isaiah 32
Isaiah 55
Isaiah 60

12 “For you will go out with joy
And be led forth with peace;
The mountains and the hills will break forth into shouts of joy before you,
And all the trees of the field will clap their hands.
13 “Instead of the thorn bush the cypress will come up,
And instead of the nettle the myrtle will come up,
And it will be a memorial to the Lord,
For an everlasting sign which will not be cut off.”

Isaiah 55:12-13

The Lord says,
Hearts are longing for resurrection. Hearts are longing for the resuscitating water of My Spirit to touch them, to revive them, and to bring them back to life. Hearts are tired of the dry place, the lonely place, the desert wilderness place. Hearts are reaching out for life, for something real, for a touch from Heaven, for a life-giving word. Many are living the life of the walking dead. Many are parched, dry, dead inside and alone; and they long for the water of My Spirit to rehydrate the lifeless spirit inside them and bring them back to life.

15 Until the Spirit is poured out upon us from on high,
And the wilderness becomes a fertile field,
And the fertile field is considered as a forest.
16 Then justice will dwell in the wilderness
And righteousness will abide in the fertile field.

Isaiah 32:15-16

They have gone from watering hole to watering hole in search of something real to quench the thirst that only I can quench. They have gone to culture, to education, to travel, to work, to drugs, to sex, and to all kinds of immorality. Some have gone to serving others and self-deprivation in hopes of finding some few drops of reviving water of life. All remain in that desert place, all who have not humbled themselves and cried out to Me, sought Me, come to the watering hole, the true fountain of My grace and My Spirit — they all remain listless and lifeless in this desert place, living as the walking dead.

55 “Ho! Every one who thirsts, come to the waters;
And you who have no money come, buy and eat.
Come, buy wine and milk
Without money and without cost.
2 “Why do you spend money for what is not bread,
And your wages for what does not satisfy?
Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good,
And delight yourself in abundance.
3 “Incline your ear and come to Me.
Listen, that you may live;
And I will make an everlasting covenant with you,
According to the faithful mercies shown to David.

Isaiah 55:1-3

Come to Me all you who are weary, thirsty, lonely, I will restore you. I will revive you. I will resurrect you in Christ, and I will bring you back to vibrant life, to wholeness, to peace, to purpose. I will give you the eyes of a child to see life with wonder, with innocence and with great unconstrained possibilities. I will restore your innocence. I will restore your health. I will restore your mind. I will restore the years the locusts have eaten, and I will put you into family. My children are not orphans. They have no need to wander alone.

These are days of restoration, resurrection and abundant life. These are days of the reunification of families and of these desert places becoming vibrant thriving fertile fields. These are days where the battle weary can take respite in Me and where long-fought battles within families disappear. These are days where the weapons are put down never to be picked up again; and hands, hearts and lives are rejoined as one. We are walking into days of reunification and of a new kind of unity, a new kind of oneness — whose aim is Mine, whose Lord is Me, whose hearts beat for My purposes and to advance My Kingdom.

4 “Lift up your eyes round about and see;
They all gather together, they come to you.
Your sons will come from afar,
And your daughters will be carried in the arms.
5 “Then you will see and be radiant,
And your heart will thrill and rejoice;
Because the abundance of the sea will be turned to you,
The wealth of the nations will come to you.
6 “A multitude of camels will cover you,
The young camels of Midian and Ephah;
All those from Sheba will come;
They will bring gold and frankincense,
And will bear good news of the praises of the Lord.

Isaiah 60:4-6

Prophecies spoken in the Scripture about unity will be made true. They will materialize in America. America is My Isaiah who said, “here I Am Lord, send Me.” She chose Me, and she will be famous for actively and continually choosing Me.

5 “Behold, you will call a nation you do not know,
And a nation which knows you not will run to you,
Because of the Lord your God, even the Holy One of Israel;
For He has glorified you.”

Isaiah 55:5

You My lovers who love Me fiercely, get your houses in order. I Am bringing many prodigals home. I Am bringing many wanderers to your doorstep. I Am bringing the living dead back to life, and they will seek you out. Get your house in order. Prepare the fatted calf. Your boys and girls are coming home and many more besides them.

How to Respond

  • Stir up hope, anticipation and grace in your heart for the prodigals in your family and community.
  • Pray, Lord show me how to prepare myself and my house for the great return You are bringing. Thank You for hearing our prayers for the prodigals, the wanderers, the rebels and the lost. Thank You for keeping Your eyes on them all of this time, and for Your promise to revive them and bring them back to life in Your Son Jesus, the Messiah.
  • Declare, the Lord is moving on prodigals, wanderers, rebels and the lost. He is moving on the walking dead ones, and He is restoring them to new, vibrant, childlike life in Him. The Lord is causing a great move of unity in Him that the world has never seen or experienced.
  • Decree, I will extend grace to the prodigals, wanderers and rebels that the Lord is restoring in my life and sphere. I will rise up in unity with my family, dropping old fights and weapons — never to pick them up again. I will rise up in unity with the Body of Christ, and together we will seek to make the Lord’s Name famous in the Earth and to make America known as the nation that always chooses the Lord.
