12 Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
Proverbs 13:12
But desire fulfilled is a tree of life.
The Lord says,
Fulfillment and completion. Those words I have marked and sealed on 2022. They have been firmly and decisively imprinted on this year. Though it may look like nothing is happening, though it may look like everything is stagnant and staying the same, I Am moving in the background. If you look closely, you can see that in places, I Am moving quite obviously in the foreground. Things are shifting. I Am moving pieces, players, and people. I Am shifting things around. I Am positioning people, moments and information. I Am making new connections, divine appointments, and I Am lighting fire in hearts that propel final action. This year will be marked by the change — the fiery explosive change — that was required and that catalyzed so much that has been waited on and prayed for — into the classifications “completion and fulfillment.” This is not just the closing of a chapter. This is the end of a book.
24 Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, and the one who formed you from the womb,“I, the Lord, am the maker of all things,
Isaiah 44:24-26
Stretching out the heavens by Myself
And spreading out the earth all alone,
25 Causing the omens of boasters to fail,
Making fools out of diviners,
Causing wise men to draw back
And turning their knowledge into foolishness,
26 Confirming the word of His servant
And performing the purpose of His messengers.
It is I who says of Jerusalem, ‘She shall be inhabited!’
And of the cities of Judah, ‘They shall be built.’
And I will raise up her ruins again.
We are writing the end of this book that we are in — the end of this way of operating, this way of living, of doing things, of seeing things and even the end to this level of technology. The book is closing on this era, and it will be marked, “completed and fulfilled.” A fresh new book will open — filled with possibilities, life and purity. It will be marked with truth, justice and underlined by the wellspring that waters the tree of promises fulfilled; the tree of life, abundance and blessing; the tree of many delights and reliable, unceasing bearing of fruit. This tree of life will stand dormant no longer. She will begin to blossom even now. It is her blossoming that will usher in the completion and fulfillment that so many have been praying for, looking for and seeking. The budding and bearing of this tree of life will be key to the closure of the book of time that we are now in. Her bearing and prosperity will carry us into the new book, the new time, the new era.
22 Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb,
Revelation 22:1
The channel of the flow of the water of My blessing, My grace is moving into alignment with this seemingly barren tree of life. I Am moving the flow to directly supply and water her; and her abundance will seem to sprout up overnight. Her fruit will appear like unexpected delights in a barren place; and she will supply many answers, fulfill many promises, and offer many gifts. Where this tree of life once struggled and searched underground for the water of My blessing and grace, it will now be directly and abundantly supplied. That abundance will be directly reflected in the bountiful abundance and outstanding quality of the fruit of blessing and delights she bears. This tree of life, this tree of abundant life is what bridges the eras and the books of our times.
2 in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
Revelation 22:2
I’m not asking you to be satisfied with small morsels. I’m not asking you to pick up and move on from here with unfinished business and gaping holes in your desires, dreams and promises. Wait here. Camp out here until My tree of life, of fulfillment and completion, of blessing and grace blooms and bears the fruit you have been greatly desiring. And then, we shall not only turn the page. We will close this book and skip, leap and dance with full and overflowing hearts into the new book marked “Favor, Abundance and Freedom.”
How to Respond
- Stir up faith that the Lord will do what He said He would do, that you will grasp in your hands the tangible answers to your prayer and the promises He has made.
- Pray, Lord, give me a booster supply of faith and hope to carry me through the finish line of this book of time. Help me not to despair or give up before I see the long-awaited answers to the cries of my heart. Thank You for being a good, merciful and generous God who loves me and who never lies, never fails, never loses and always comes through for me.
- Declare, the Lord is moving all of the pieces into place for swift and decisive change. The flow of His river of blessing and grace is being repositioned to directly water the tree of life; and He will cause her to bear spectacular fruit that exceeds expectations and delights the longing hearts of all who are seeking Him.
- Decree, I will firmly and immovably stand on the promises of God for me and my family, community and nation. I will see and experience the fulfillment of promises, desires and the answers to prayer that I have been seeking — no matter how long I have been praying or how far gone they seem. I will eat abundantly and be abundantly supplied by of the fruit of the tree of life. I will glory in the closing of the book of this era as it is marked “Fulfilled and Completed,” and rejoice and delight in the new one, marked “Favor, Abundance and Freedom.”
