Psalm 91
Isaiah 41

14 For here is what the Lord has spoken to me:
“Because you loved me, delighted in me, and have been loyal to my name,
I will greatly protect you.
15 I will answer your cry for help every time you pray,
and you will feel my presence
in your time of trouble.
I will deliver you and bring you honor.
16 I will satisfy you with a full life and with all that I do for you.
For you will enjoy the fullness of my salvation!”

Psalm 91:14-16

The Lord says,
Jesus is the Resurrected King. He is the Lord of the Resurrection and has dominion, power and the authority to call forth resurrections. He is the One, through the power of Holy Spirit, who is calling what’s dead to life now. Like He did with Lazarus, He’s calling your dreams, promises and hopes to come forth from dark tombs. You may think the time has passed. You may think the opportunity has gone. You may think that what’s done is done, but the Lord of the Resurrection is calling dead things to life.

He is also Lord of the Harvest. This delayed harvest season — the harvest of two harvests, He is also commanding to spring forth. The earth will reveal and bring forth much in this time. What was hoped for but assumed dead and gone — what you thought you’d buried forever — He is calling back to life. What you have planted and sown in faithfulness, in joy, in tears and in much hard labor with great self-sacrifice — the fruit of those labors will be borne in this season. The earth is birthing all of these in this season. The evil works, deeds, lies and abominable things that those aligned with darkness have done, these too will bear fruit, and their harvest will be brought forth by the earth and in the earth. The earth will cause much to be revealed. Many things that have been hidden in secret beneath the surface will come forth as great harvests.

Be holy, because I Am holy. Be a people of clean lips and and pure hearts. Be a people whose hands are poised to help and whose feet are ready to walk in service of your neighbor and fellow man in need. Be ones whose lips and eyes are ready with a smile and whose voices carry a song of thanksgiving and praise, whose hearts bubble over in worship and thanksgiving.

20 Then he left the oxen behind and ran after Elijah, and said, “Please let me kiss my father and my mother, then I will follow you.” And he said to him, “Go back, for what have I done to you?” 21 So he returned from following him, and took the pair of oxen and sacrificed them, and cooked their meat with the implements of the oxen, and gave it to the people and they ate. Then he got up and followed Elijah and served him.

1 Kings 19:20-21

These are days of Elisha. These are the days to burn the plows and the harnesses of your former identity and to walk forward in great courage and boldness to the new life I Am calling you into. What comes forth from this new chapter and new life will be what you are remembered for. It will be lived boldly and fearing God alone. I the Lord will lead you and guide you into this new chapter and this new character you are becoming.

You are walking into the days of being the most authentic, most pure you that you have ever been, and the world is better for it. You are walking into days of great boldness and fierceness – with strength of conviction and with no tolerance for the works of the enemy in your life, your family, in your land, community or nation. You are walking into a season where you have zero tolerance for evil. This season will also be one where you truly learn and embrace celebration, freedom and living with an open heart.

13 I am Yahweh, your mighty God!
I grip your right hand and won’t let you go!
I whisper to you:
‘Don’t be afraid; I am here to help you!’
14 “Jacob, although you feel like a grub worm, have no fear!
O men of Israel, I am here to help you!
I am your Kinsman-Redeemer,
the Holy One of Israel!
15 I am making you into a powerful threshing instrument,
with teeth new and sharp!
You will reduce hills to chaff and crush mountains into dust!
16 You will winnow them, and the stormy wind will blow them away!
Then you will spin and dance with rejoicing in Yahweh,
boasting with admiration in the Holy One of Israel!

Isaiah 41:13-16

It seems contradictory perhaps. But the fierceness and the lack of tolerance for evil is what protects your heart and mind, your family, community and nation. It is what enables you all to live so openly, so freely and with such a posture and readiness to celebrate, to live in active joy, to live out loud and not fear rejection, man’s word of criticism or operate from a fear of lack. This zero tolerance policy is allowing you to walk in a lifestyle of and expectation of abundance — of love, of provision and of good things from My hands.

These are days of power — striking and undeniable supernatural happenings of power. These are days of darkness being taken down. These are days of victory and My fierce warriors – like you – standing guard over their minds and hearts, their families, communities and nation.

16 And from that day on, half of my servants carried on the work while half of them kept hold of the spears, the shields, the bows, and the coats of mail; and the captains were behind all the house of Judah.17 Those who were rebuilding the wall and those who carried burdens carried with one hand doing the work, and the other keeping hold of a weapon. 18 As for the builders, each wore his sword strapped to his waist as he built, while the trumpeter stood near me.

Nehemiah 4:16-18

These are days like Nehemiah, where you will work with one hand and hold your sword at the ready in the other. These are days to whistle and sing while you work. It sounds like a great dichotomy. But protection, defense and a strong offense against the works of evil provide the ability to live such an open and fruitful and glory-filled abundant life. It will be a bit disorienting at first. It will blow your mind in hindsight. But it will become your new moda operandai. It will become your new way of operating. It will be come your new normal. You will roar like a lion and skip like a calf, all in the same space of time.
