Today’s Readings: James 1 Psalm 65
65 There will be silence before You, and praise in Zion, O God,
Psalm 65:1-2
And to You the vow will be performed.
2 O You who hear prayer,
To You all men come.
The Lord says,
The angels of intercession are out making deliveries. Angels of intercession are flooding the earth with their packages from Heaven for delivery — with answers big and small. They are bringing some surprise answers to prayers that you didn’t even realize you prayed, but I could hear the longing for them in your soul. Holy Spirit gave utterance to those prayers for you. Even answers to those are being delivered.
The floodgates of Heaven have opened for a massive delivery period, and these angels of intercession are out on schedule, making their deliveries — to many homes, to many believers, to many who have sought My face, to many who have cried out for help, for change, for a touch of Heaven.
16 Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. 17 Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.
James 1:16-17
This is a delivery period, a window of many deliveries. Many fresh opportunities and days and moments are opened up to seize those, to embrace the gift, to take the risk, to make the leap required to receive the gift. Some of these are direct answers. Many come with instruction. Many of these deliveries come with faith required. Like the Christmas Day frustration of many children and parents, some of these come with no batteries included. You must bring the energy that brings these gifts, these opportunities, these brief windows of change to life.
22 But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves.
James 1:22
Delight in the gifts. Seize upon the gifts. Choose to grasp the gifts with both hands and enjoy them. Immerse yourself in the joy, the delight, the work of the gift and the new opportunity, the new way of thinking, the new direction that the gifts bring. This delivery window of many answered prayers, many gifts, many new delights from Heaven has blown wide open.
5 By awesome deeds You answer us in righteousness, O God of our salvation,
Psalm 65:5
You who are the trust of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest sea;
Don’t be one who doesn’t recognize a gift when they are given one. Don’t be one who doesn’t seize a gift that has been long prayed for and awaited because you are caught so off-guard. Seize it. Grasp it, and do what is required to possess it fully. Determine that this window of answers to prayer is met with your delight, awe and childlike excitement. Don’t bring your stoney-faced look. Bring your childlike exuberance and rapture. Bring your delight. Bring your thanksgiving. Bring your yes.
8 They who dwell in the ends of the earth stand in awe of Your signs;
Psalm 65:8
You make the dawn and the sunset shout for joy.
Watch as I open the storehouses of heaven. Won’t I pour out a blessing for you so great that you won’t be able to to contain it? It will be more than you could ask, think or imagine.
I asked the Lord what was on His heart this morning regarding the nations. He said this:
China. Pray for the persecuted church in China. Pray for the lost in China. Pray for those who are seeking Me but have to be so careful and cautious to protect their families and themselves in China. Surround the Chinese people with your prayer. I included a prayer response below.
How to Respond
- Sing songs of thanksgiving and declare the faithfulness and follow through of the Lord.
- Pray, Lord thank You for opening this delivery window of extraordinary answers to the prayers of many men and women, boys and girls. Help us to recognize the answers and the gifts that You have sent. Help us to seize them with great joy and do what is required to activate them in our lives.
- Declare, the Lord has opened a massive delivery window from Heaven, and His angels of intercession are out on delivery routes delivering answers to prayer, gifts and surprises to the people.
- Decree, I will be found among the faithful who rejoice, delight and do what is required by the answers and gifts the Lord brings into my life. I will bring my creativity and imagination to the opportunities He delivers, and I will take great joy in His instruction even if it requires risk and calls for faith.
- Pray, Lord we come before You to lift up the people of China. We ask that You surround the persecuted Church of China with Your love and protective covering. We send Your angels on assignment to protect the believers in China — their families and their livelihoods. We declare that those persecuting the Church would fail miserably at their persecution and that all of these persecuting Sauls would become mighty unstoppable Pauls for Your cause. We ask for a covering and a shield of protection for those who are seeking You in China, that You would bring divine connections and answers to them as they prayerfully and cautiously seek Your face. We ask for the expatriates living abroad from their homes in China as well Lord, that they would encounter You and become lights and roaring fires for Your Kingdom.
