Today’s Readings: Isaiah 51-52
52 Awake, awake,
Isaiah 52:1-3
Clothe yourself in your strength, O Zion;
Clothe yourself in your beautiful garments,
O Jerusalem, the holy city;
For the uncircumcised and the unclean
Will no longer come into you.
2 Shake yourself from the dust, rise up,
O captive Jerusalem;
Loose yourself from the chains around your neck,
O captive daughter of Zion.
3 For thus says the Lord, “You were sold for nothing and you will be redeemed without money.”
The Lord says,
Miracles on miracles. You’re walking into the days of so many miracles, you won’t be able to count them all. Miracle days are here — justice miracles, truth miracles, exposure miracles, ouster miracles, removal miracles, replacement miracles, righteous leadership miracles, revival miracles. These are days of worldwide turnaround miracles, global political change miracles, even local political change miracles where new life springs forth fresh and whole. These are days of the corrupt being uprooted and tossed aside in favor of righteousness, truth, dignity, honor and justice. Miracle days are upon us.
7 How lovely on the mountains
Isaiah 52:7
Are the feet of him who brings good news,
Who announces peace
And brings good news of happiness,
Who announces salvation,
And says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”
Miracle days are here. Watch for miracles this week — political miracles, change miracles, exposure miracles, revelations of what was in the dark coming to light miracles, truth rising in the the public square and being told from the mouths of even the lying media miracles. These are all miracles. And they will come rushing out — one after the next.
4 “Pay attention to Me, O My people,
Isaiah 51:4-5
And give ear to Me, O My nation;
For a law will go forth from Me,
And I will set My justice for a light of the peoples.
5 “My righteousness is near, My salvation has gone forth,
And My arms will judge the peoples;
The coastlands will wait for Me,
And for My arm they will wait expectantly.
Watch as the momentum gains behind these miracles of removal, replacement, truth, justice, exposure and righteous rule. Watch as the they gain in force, speed and magnitude. Watch as they snowball and take out conventional wisdom, take out existing power structures, take out long held beliefs, take out man made institutions that promote slavery and debt. Watch.
People will say, “it was a miracle,” and before the words have left their mouth, an even bigger miracle will have sprung forth. People will wag their tongues and stand in awe at the number of miracles that happen and happen and continue to happen and build upon one another — like a tremendous snowball, like a landslide, like an avalanche. An avalanche of miracles, truth, justice, removals, exposure, replacement and righteous rule is rumbling at its source now. It is on the way
How to Respond
- Sing songs about the miracles of the Lord. Prime your heart and your mind for great change and mind blowing miracles – one after the next.
- Pray, Lord, bring your miracles like you said you would. Bring miracles to my family, my community, my state and nation. Bring miracles of righteous change. Bring miracles of truth, justice, exposure and the uprooting of evil and corruption. Use me as you will to be an image bearer of Christ and an agent of miracles.
- Declare, the Lord God has moved us into Miracle Days. He will do what He said He would do. He is causing an avalanche of miracles to take place in the world. He is uprooting evil and corruption. He is exposing the rot that needs to come to light. He is replacing wicked leaders with righteous ones, and He is causing justice and truth to be marks of these Miracle Days.
- Decree, wickedness is being uprooted. Evil and corruption are being exposed. Justice and truth will come forth as a steady drumbeat, and righteous rulers will replace wicked ones. Corrupt, thieving institutions will be mowed down. Conventional wisdom and widespread lies will be defeated. The truth of the Lord will stand victorious. Justice will stand victorious. The Lord God Almighty, the author of life and every miracle will stand victorious.
