Psalm 66-68
Isaiah 52
4 Then how glad the nations will be when you are their King.
Psalm 67:4-7
They will sing, they will shout, for you give true justice to the people.
Yes! You, Lord, are the shepherd of the nations!
Pause in his presence
5 No wonder the peoples praise you!
Let all the people praise you more!
6 The harvest of the earth is here!
God, the very God we worship,
keeps us satisfied at his banquet of blessings.
7 And the blessings keep coming!
All the ends of the earth will give him
the honor he deserves and be in awe of him!
The Lord says,
This is the change you’ve been waiting for. The change is here. The change is now. Look around you. Everything is changing. It’s hard to stay grounded. It’s hard to not get dizzy with the world spinning as it is like a great carnival ride. But the change days are here. They are arriving, and I Am sweeping out the old and setting a fresh, new, pure table.
This is the change you longed for and feared. These are the days you have been in great anticipation of. This day of change will cause you to say, “this is the best day ever!” Trumpets will sound and the carpet for dignitaries will be rolled out. Honor and respect will have a place. Loyalty will have a place. Truth will have a place. Justice will have a place.
3 But let all the righteous be glad!
Psalm 68:3-4
Yes, let them all rejoice in your presence
and be carried away with gladness.
Let them laugh and be radiant with joy!
4 Let them sing their celebration-songs
for the coming of the cloud rider whose name is Yah!
Freedom songs and celebration will break out. You will know without a doubt that this is what we’ve all been waiting for. You will know that My love poured out and made it possible. Many kinds of celebrations will break out in response to the touch of My love and the movements of My hand that brought change.
5 Everyone will say, “Come and see the incredible things God has done;
Psalm 66:5
it will take your breath away!
He multiplies miracles for his people!”
The people will say, “these are days of restoration. These are days of honor. These are days of hope. And these are the days of the mighty ones in the Lord.”
Those who are strong in the Lord will be like fearsome military men and women. They will be a guard and an offensive force. They will guard the land and the people, the hearts and the minds with truth and with powerful declarations. They will be the zero tolerance forces who knock back and dismantle any who try to bring evil or filth or introduce doubt and unfaithfulness into the camp.
8 Listen! The watchmen are shouting in triumph!
Isaiah 52:8-10
Lifting their voices together, they are singing for joy!
For right before their eyes, they can see
Yahweh returning to Zion!
9 Burst into joyous songs, you rubble of Jerusalem!
For Yahweh has graciously comforted his people;
he has become the Kinsman-Redeemer of Jerusalem!
10 Yahweh has unveiled his holy arm
before the eyes of all the nations.
To the ends of the earth, everyone everywhere
will see the salvation of our God!
The people will sing and dance and live in great freedom. Hearts will be light, and they will alight with fiery passion for My Name. You will say, “these are the best days ever!” After so many uncertain days, so many bleak days, so many hard and heartbreaking days, you are emerging into the Best Days. Beautiful Days. Glorious Days. Celebration is at your doorstep. My breakthrough is here.
Be one who is ready to celebrate.
Be one whose lips are ready to smile and offer words and songs of praise.
Be one whose heart overflows with thanksgiving and gushes forth with gratitude.
Be one who holds loosely to expectations and plans in these days of change.
Keep your eyes and your trust squarely focused on Me, the Author of this change.
How to Respond
- Be in a spirit and a posture of worship and anticipation.
- Declare that the Best Days are at our doorstep.
- Declare that the Lord is moving in a mighty change that will restore honor, dignity, loyalty, truth and justice to their rightful places in society.
- Declare that this mighty move of change is because of the love of the Lord, and all who experience the change will also experience a touch of His love.
- Declare that the breakthrough of the Lord is here.
