Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 33
Habakkuk 1
Matthew 21
Woe to you, destroyer, you who have not been destroyed. Woe to you, traitor, you who have not been betrayed. When you have finished your work of destroying, you will be destroyed, and when you have completed your betrayal, you will be betrayed. Yahweh, be gracious to us, for we wait for you. Be our strength every morning and rescue us when troubles come. The nations retreat at the sound of your roaring voice. The nations scatter as you arise in your majesty. Their spoil will be harvested, carried away like locusts that strip a field bare. And like leaping locusts, men will leap upon the spoils. Yahweh is high and lifted up; he dwells on high! He lavished his justice and righteousness on Zion! He will be your constant source of stability in changing times, and out of his abundant love he gives you the riches of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. Yes, the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure!
Isaiah 33:1-6 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God who always follows through say, Marvelous grace for change is here. Wonder working grace for change is here. You are beginning to see the wrinkles in the foundational elements now. Those wrinkles will disturb the status quo, and then they will necessitate change. For those who set the status quo, for those whose lives thrive and prosper on the status quo, this will be very disturbing — and then as the wrinkling increases, it will be very alarming. They will see the warning signs that I Am pulling the rug out from beneath their feet. And I will. I will do it. And just as I did with the money changers at the temple that day, I will turn over their tables. I will publicly dishonor them, and I will see that they run from the scene in shame.
Upon entering Jerusalem Jesus went directly into the temple area and drove away all the merchants who were buying and selling their goods. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the stands of those selling doves. And he said to them, “My dwelling place will be known as a house of prayer, but you have made it into a hangout for thieves!” Then the blind and the crippled came into the temple courts, and Jesus healed them all. And the children circled around him shouting out, “Blessings and praises to the Son of David!”
Matthew 21:12-14 TPT
These wrinkles of change are going to foretell that I will be wiping the slate clean, that I will be taking players off the board, that I will be setting a new standard and establishing a new order. Moving forward in this now unfamiliar place will be black and white. The path and the approach will be binary and clear. Wellsprings of life will gush to the surface. Where things once seemed dull and covered in grime, it will seem like a new place after I pull the rug from beneath the feet of those money changers. And the life that teems beneath the true and now accessible foundation will astound you. You had no idea that this much life, this much joy, this much freedom was right there beneath the surface, beneath the covering and barrier established by the money changers. With that covering removed, with the money changers ejected from the scene, the vast endlessness of life and possibilities of freedom and delight will be visible, will be in reach and will be available to all.
Look among the nations! Observe! Be astonished! Wonder! Because I am doing something in your days— You would not believe if you were told.
Habakkuk 1:5 NASB1995
I Am doing a work in your day that you could have never dreamed was possible. But with Me, in Me, through Me — at My hands — all things are possible. And nothing is impossible for My lovers whose delight is in Me. Trust in Me. Watch for the wrinkles to begin to form. It won’t be long now. I will pull out the rug from beneath the money changers, and all will be astonishingly, astoundingly different.
How to Respond
- Ask the Lord to give you wisdom and understanding in how to best position yourself financially for the days ahead.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You that You are bringing justice and truth back to the financial foundations of our nation. Help me to be properly positioned when that change comes. Help me to not cling to what I know and not fear the days of change ahead. Help me to be teachable and hold loosely to the status quo.
- Declare, the Lord is our judge. The Lord is our lawgiver. The Lord is our king. He will save us. — Isaiah 33:22 NASB1995
- Decree, the Lord is providing me with an incredible abundance of grace for the change He is bringing. He is going to pull the rug out from beneath the feet of the money changers in America, and He will publicly dishonor them and cause them to run from the scene. He will replace the status quo with something simple, clear and honest that teems with life and endless possibilities.
