Today’s Reading:
Judges 5
Psalm 68

In the days of Shamgar son of Anath, and in the days of Jael, no one felt safe; the roads were deserted, and those who dared to travel took back roads. Champions were hard to find — hard to find in Israel, until I, Deborah, took a stand! I arose as a mother in Israel! The Israelites chose new gods, which brought war into the land. Of forty thousand men in Israel, not a shield or spear was seen. My heart is with Israel’s princes, with the people who gladly volunteered. Praise Yahweh!

Judges‬ ‭5‬:‭6‬-‭9‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God who has won every victory say,
I’m raising up women warriors — women warriors of truth for justice. These will be some of the fiercest, most fearless fighters you have ever seen. These women will not relent. They will not be deterred, and they will not back down from any fight to which I have called them.

God Almighty declares the word of the gospel with power, and the warring women of Zion deliver its message: “The conquering legions have themselves been conquered. Look at them flee!” Now Zion’s women are left to gather the spoils.

Psalms‬ ‭68‬:‭11‬-‭12‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I Am raising up fierce, ferocious, extremely sharp women who will lead men out to battle. They will be brilliant strategists, excellent communicators, and they will not be moved from their targets. I’m doing this to confuse the enemy. I’m doing this to restore what many of these women have had stolen from them, what many have lost or missed out on due to the theft of the enemy. They will be wild but disciplined warriors for justice.

I hear the Lord God saying to all the enemies of his people, “You’d better come out of your hiding places, all of you who are doing your best to stay far away from me. Don’t you know there’s no place to hide? For my people will be the conquerors; they will soon have you under their feet. They will crush you until there is nothing left!”

Psalms‬ ‭68‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Through the raising up of these women warriors, I will restore to them what the enemy has stolen, and their hearts will be set on fire to restore to many, many, many innocent ones what the enemy has stolen from them. They will destroy the enemy. They will go after the enemy in every quarter they can find, and they will plunder his every camp. In their hearts they will feel that this is only the beginning of approaching justice for what has been done to My little ones. These women will be like wild cats — ferocious, unforgiving of the enemy and untamable. You will hear the news say time and time again, “it’s best just to get out of their way, because they will go through you.” You will hear the reporters say, “she will definitely go through you if you try to stand in the way of truth, justice, rescue or return for a little one.”

The most blessed of all women is Jael, wife of Heber the Kenite— the most fortunate of Bedouin women. Sisera came to Jael’s tent and asked for water, but she gave him milk; she brought him buttermilk in a beautiful bowl. With a tent peg in one hand and a workman’s hammer in the other, she struck Sisera and pierced his skull; she drove the peg through his temple. She shattered his skull, and he lay still before Jael. Sprawled on the tent floor, he bit the dust at her feet— deader than a doornail!

Judges‬ ‭5‬:‭24‬-‭27‬ ‭TPT‬‬

These women will put the world on notice, will put the enemy on notice that the days of roaming freely and prowling freely to pluck up the little ones, to steal and betray and destroy whatever he chooses — those days are over. Many new sheriffs are in town, and they have keen eyes, powerful, blindingly fast, muscular enforcement mechanisms and very, very sharp teeth. Watch as I raise up these women warriors — many women warriors — to wrestle back and enforce justice in the land.

How to Respond

  • Pray, Holy Spirit thank You that You are raising up fierce, fearless women warriors who will fight for justice in America and around the world. Help me to know my part in the fight and in supporting those who You are drawing into the fight. Thank You that You have already won every victory, and You are restoring all that the enemy has stolen. Thank You that You work with Your lovers and make us instruments of Your justice in the Earth.
  • Declare, our God is a mighty God who saves us over and over! For the Lord, Yahweh, rescues us from the ways of death many times. But he will crush every enemy, shattering their strength. He will make heads roll, for they refuse to repent of their stubborn sinful ways. — Psalm 68:20-21
  • Decree, the Lord is raising up myriads of fearless, fierce women warriors who will war for and enforce justice in the land. The Lord will guide and use these instruments of justice to terrify the enemy, to push back the enemy, to plunder the enemy and to bring justice to the Lord’s little ones. These women will not be deterred, and they will not be forgiving of the works of the enemy that have stolen, killed and destroyed. I will assume my place in this war as the Lord leads, and I will fight fearlessly and boldly to push back the gates of hell and to plunder the enemy’s camp.
