Isaiah 9
No more gloom for those who are in distress! Although the Lord greatly humbled the regions of Zebulun and Naphtali, he will one day bestow upon them great honor—from the Mediterranean eastward to the other side of the Jordan and throughout the Galilee of the gentiles. Those who walked in darkness have seen a radiant light shining upon them. They once lived in the shadows of death, but now a glorious light has dawned!
Isaiah 9:1-2 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God of all truth who is Truth say, Remarkable truths are at hand. The light is coming on. I have turned the light on, and I Am coming to turn lights on. Days of truth being hidden in dark closets is over. Days of truth being swept under rugs and labeled conspiracy theories are drawing to a close. I Am opening the dust bin where they thought they could hide truth, and truth will litter the scene. What they swept up, discarded, and what they believed they had destroyed will all spill out onto the scene, into the light for all to see. What was hidden in darkness will be hidden no longer.
Lord, you have multiplied the nation and given them overwhelming joy! They are ecstatic in your presence and rejoice like those who bring in a great harvest and those who divide up the spoils of victory! For you have broken the chains that have bound your people and lifted off the heavy bar across their shoulders, the rod the oppressor used against them. You have shattered all their bondage, just as you did when Midian’s armies were defeated.
Isaiah 9:3-4 TPT
These are days of the light, for children of the light. Those who have been in darkness, they will now see the great light. Institutional darkness is gone. Organic, freedom-giving light is rising and dispelling this institutional, man-made darkness. This darkness is satanic. It is demonic. It has called itself the gray area. It has called itself the new truth. It has called itself personal truth. It has called itself enlightened truth. It has called itself counter-culture, then it became culture. It has masqueraded as truth. But it is being revealed and uncovered for what it is — great deception and institutional darkness that brings death, decay, depression and personal defeat. I Am deflating the power of darkness, the stature of darkness, and the specter of darkness will be seen for what it is it. The people will turn on darkness and cling to the light.
A child has been born for us; a son has been given to us. The responsibility of complete dominion will rest on his shoulders, and his name will be: the Wonderful One, the Extraordinary Strategist, the Mighty God, the Father of Eternity, the Prince of Peace! Great and vast is his dominion. He will bring immeasurable peace and prosperity. He will rule on David’s throne and over David’s kingdom to establish and uphold it by promoting justice and righteousness from this time forward and forevermore. The marvelous passion that the Lord Yahweh, Commander of Angel Armies, has for his people will ensure that it is finished!
Isaiah 9:6-7 TPT
I Am the light and their great salvation, and they will turn to Me. They will live in Me. They will be restored to original intent in Me, and they will shine and reflect their Father in Heaven. This is the great awakening. The lights are coming on. Darkness has been defeated and is being defeated once again. The days of institutional darkness are breathing their last breaths. Because, behold the light has come, He is the Lamb who has taken away the sins of the world. And that bright light has, is and will conquer darkness to the very end. These are days of bright light, of truth and the demise of the specter of darkness.

How to Respond
- Draw near to the Lord. Stir up your love for truth and allegiance to the truth.
- Pray, Lord, thank You for turning on the lights. Thank You for dispelling darkness and revealing it for what it is. Thank You for Your overcoming power, for Your Presence and for Your great love for us that has already overcome the darkness of the world. Open the eyes of every person, and may all who have been living in deception, slumber and willful denial come to see and love the light of the real truth, King Jesus. Thank You that we are moving from victory to victory, from glory to glory, and our portion is not defeat.
- Declare, He whom the Son sets free is free indeed. Where the Lord reigns, there is freedom.
- Decree, The Lord is exposing truth and undermining darkness. He will no longer allow darkness to hide the truth. He is shining the bright light of truth in every corner, and every aspect of truth that has been concealed will be revealed. Darkness is being defeated right now, and it will not recover. The victory of the Lord is eternal.
