Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 46
46 Bel has bowed down, Nebo stoops over;
Isaiah 46:1-4
Their images are consigned to the beasts and the cattle.
The things that you carry are burdensome,
A load for the weary beast.
2 They stooped over, they have bowed down together;
They could not rescue the burden,
But have themselves gone into captivity.
3 “Listen to Me, O house of Jacob,
And all the remnant of the house of Israel,
You who have been borne by Me from birth
And have been carried from the womb;
4 Even to your old age I will be the same,
And even to your graying years I will bear you!
I have done it, and I will carry you;
And I will bear you and I will deliver you.
The Spirit of the Lord says,
The dawn is breaking. The dawn is breaking on evil. The dawn is breaking on wickedness. Where darkness has been allowed to reign, the dawn is breaking. Light is being shed, and the light is unstoppable. The new day is unstoppable. My work and My plan are unstoppable. Nothing can stop what is coming. The flood is coming. The flood of light and truth is coming. The dawn is breaking, and the flood has begun to trickle and travel into place. It will not be gentle for long. Light and truth are powerful partners. They are powerful disrupters. And they will displace the darkness. They will displace the darkness.
9 “Remember the former things long past,
Isaiah 46:9-11
For I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and there is no one like Me,
10 Declaring the end from the beginning,
And from ancient times things which have not been done,
Saying, ‘My purpose will be established,
And I will accomplish all My good pleasure’;
11 Calling a bird of prey from the east,
The man of My purpose from a far country.
Truly I have spoken; truly I will bring it to pass.
I have planned it, surely I will do it.
My goodness, My faithfulness, My compassion and My righteous right hand are moving. They are moving in response to the prayers and faith decrees of My people. They are moving in response to the hearts turning and the knees bowing. They are moving in response to the cup of iniquity which is now overflowing. I Am moving for good, and I Am moving in response to evil.
This is a time to live with a heart full of worship. This is a time to sing praise as you go about your day. This is a time to keep your heart and your eyes laser-focused on Me. Praise will keep your mind secure. Praise will anchor your heart to Mine. These will keep you out of fear, anxiety and worry. They will keep you from rash reactions and poor decisions. Worship will keep peace covering you. Live with a song in your heart and on your lips, and you will not be moved by what you see and hear. The news will shake things. The truth will shake things. The war, this clash of titans war will shake things. But you, My dear, don’t have to be shaken. You are part of a Kingdom that cannot be shaken. It’s your birthright to not be shaken in the shaking.
12 “Listen to Me, you stubborn-minded,
Isaiah 46:12-13
Who are far from righteousness.
13 “I bring near My righteousness, it is not far off;
And My salvation will not delay.
And I will grant salvation in Zion,
And My glory for Israel.
Let love lead you. Let worship be your constant companion and ongoing action. Don’t trust everything your eyes see and Your ears hear. This is a time of war through great deception. Be careful to whom you listen. Be careful who you trust to give you instruction or reporting. Keep the worship going. It will amp up your discernment. Don’t fall for the traps, the lies, the psychological warfare. This is a time fraught with misinformation and disinformation for the purpose of deception. Don’t be deceived. Keep your eyes and your heart and your ears tuned to Me. Keep your mouth and your heart singing a song of praise.
You hold the keys to not being shaken, to not being deceived and to living victoriously though it all and in the end. The dawn is breaking. The war and the spiritual clashing is amping up. Your place, your response, your stance is a choice. Don’t react. Move from a posture of confidence, peace and unceasing praise to your King. That’s the place where victory lives.
How to Respond
- Trust the Lord Your God. Worship Him with unceasing praise.
- Put on the full armor of God daily. We are entering a war season.
- Pray, Holy Spirit help me. Give me wisdom, discernment and strength. Help me to live from joy, peace and a heart filled with worship and thanksgiving. Help me not to be moved in the shaking but instead to worship and live victoriously through it.
- Declare, we are entering a time where light and truth displaces the darkness. We are entering a time where the children of God do not have to be moved in the shaking.
- Decree, I will not be moved in the shaking. I will worship and keep my eyes on my Savior and King, Jesus, come what may. I will protect my heart, my eyes and my ear gates from deception. And I will see the Lord’s light and truth triumph and displace darkness. I will be victorious with Him.
